Well, what placements show intelligence or scientific research ability in the charts??I aspire to be a research scientist..
guess my gem moon,scorp mars,virgo jup and cappy midheaven shud help??!!
Also, I have sun,saturn(:confused  ,jupiter and pluto in the 6th house..no planets in 10th house though.. ------------------

Yes theres lots of it in many peoples charts that they don't realize it. Usually the most would be the:Ascendant Sign and Degree
Any planets or points to the Ascendant Aspects to Mercury
Aspects to Uranus Heres mine:
I have Virgo Rising first decan with a Pallas Conjunct Ascendant by 6 degrees(attention to detail). With a Mercury Semi Sextile Saturn, Mercury Trine Jupiter, and Uranus Trine Ascendant. A real good one would probably be Mercury Conjunct Uranus in the 1st House or 6th house with either Gemini or Aquarius Rising. Thats just an example. ------------------

hey astrostudent Id also love to be a scientist and thought about this lately, what field to study.
And we have many similarities : Sun saturn pluto mercury in libra, mars uranus in scorpio, venus and north node leo, neptune sag,jupiter virgo in 9th But I havent decided yet LOL, damn libra IP: Logged |

i dont think there is anything like intelligence...intelligence doesnt exist to me.i believe everyone is intelligent, n they all use it differently. some use it for studies,some for sport n some others for negative activities.

astrostudent -If you leave out the word "intelligence" on its own, and just keep "scientific research ability" the question becomes much more user-friendly and applicable to everyday observation. In the case of the latter, I'm constantly reading a lot about that when it comes to Pluto/Scorpio/8th House. The 6th House on its own helps with being meticulous. I would also look into Uranus/Aquarius/11th House stuff. Like when people tell me having a Uranus in Leo Singleton is good for astrology, type thing. I guess the key with those Uranus/Aquarius/11th House energies is that it needs some type of Fixed energy to stabilize it, or it floats into space. Research is not only about exploration, but it is also very much about staying on point. ------------------

I have neptune and scorp at the cusp of 8th house..similarly aqua at the cusp of the 11th house but no planets..------------------
