" http://www.planets9.com/yoko.htm " Lara, I found the interpretation above rather offensive. So many misogynistic cliches. I don't know much how to do Vedic astrology, but this cannot be an unbiased reading. IP: Logged |

I think people need to remember that their relationship was real. They ups and downs, he was doing drugs all the time, and this by his own admission, mostly weed. Like a lot of artists, including myself, he didn't want to be bothered by the business side of things anymore and she was and still is great at it. He had many other lovers, not just May Pang, and Yoko was very aware of it and didn't entirely mind unless he purposely used it to humiliate her, which is what he did do once about 6 months before they split up during his "Lost Weekend". They purposely sold their relationship to the public as "Ideal" but it wasn't the "ideal" relationship. It worked for them, two artists who were willing to explore freedom in many ways, including their relationship. They aren't the only people who did that and they most certainly won't be the last. I think they're connection is fascinating, but there is no concrete time ever proven for John Lennon's birth. Even he has been officially recorded as giving several different birth times at different points in his life when he was asked. But without looking at the times or trying to figure out his Moon, there are more than enough fascinating connections between the two of them. It's interesting that if you try to rectify his chart, Capricorn Moon and Aquarius Moon both seem to describe his birth mother and his maternal guardian, his Aunt Mimi who was very strict and cold. His mother was very care free and eccentric. I wonder if the time would be the one that puts his Moon on the cusp of Capricorn and Aquarius. Oh well. Mimi had written down that at 6:30pm, she received the phone call that Julia had just given birth to a boy, and she was very clear in her interviews about the time. (To be fair, I would say it could have been from 6:20pm-6:30pm.) The only discrepency I know of regarding Lennon's birth is that some have wondered if there really was an air raid occurring on the 9th as it wasn't published. But, at the time locations of air raids weren't always specified. There are reports that "a Nazi" was shot down by Merseyside, and a "northwestern town" was subjected to air raids on the 8th and 9th. I only know one case where Lennon wasn't clear about his birth time being at 6:30pm, but how many times have you asked someone what time they were born and had the reply, "I dunno." or "Maybe noon?" Ask their mother and you'll get a very different answer! And if you know anything about Mimi Stanley, you know Mimi's memory and exacting mind were sharp and dependable. IP: Logged |

At the official website it says "October 9, 1940 - As sirens wailed during a German Luftwaffe attack, John Lennon is born at Oxford Street Maternity Hospital in Liverpool, England to Julia Stanley and Alfred Lennon." ON another site says: http://www.astrodatabank.com/nm/LennonJohn.htm "Birth Data Birth Name: Lennon, John Birth Date: 10/09/1940 (Oct 09, 1940) Birth Time: 18:30 (06:30 PM) GDT (+0:00) Birth Place: Liverpool, England Latitude / Longitude: 53 N 25 / 02 W 55 Rodden Rating / Source: A / From memory Source Notes: LMR quotes his step-mom, Pauline Stone, by correspondence, "from Lennon's aunt who was present at the birth." Aaron Fischer quotes his Aunt Mimi in Ray Coleman's "Lennon," McGraw-Hill, 1985, New York, "At 6:30 on 9 October I phoned and they said Mrs. Lennon had just had a boy." This would put the time somewhat before 6:30 PM. Marion March reported that Lennon was born during an air raid, and London papers reported a raid that night, not in the morning. (Formerly, Leek's magazine, January 1972, gave 8:30 AM, "from him recently by phone." Davies, "The Beatles," gives 7:00 AM. Roger Elliot wrote in 4/1981 that John and Yoko came to him for charts in 1969 when Lennon gave him 6:30 PM, but doubtfully. His mom died young and his dad did not reappear until John was an adult. He himself was periodically stoned out of his mind and gave various times indiscriminately." Don Borkowski in August 2002 stated that his deceased wife, Georgie, knew the Beatles and gave 7:14 AM GWT, Manchester, England, from John himself."
