By experimenting with my JUNO-RETURN-charts I found out something extremely intriguing: Juno obviously returns every 4th to 5th year to its original position in a natal chart – and this is exactly the “critical time span” for a marriage, as far as huge surveys go. In fact,
Psychologists and Sociologists claim that the average duration of a “happy marriage” takes about 4 to 5 years. And indeed, statistically, most of the divorces happen after exactly this time span. (There are several international studied proving this). Experts say that after 4 to 5 years it will show whether a couple can stand the test of time and surmount the obstacles, after the first attraction has vanished or changed.

Could it be that JUNO’S movement plays a role here???

My last JUNO-Return took place in the summer of 2005 – but I was single then, no significant love life at that time. My next JUNO-Return will take place in the spring of 2010 – and it promises an extremely intense love experience - huh! ;-) Here are some of its linkages to my natal-chart (all aspects exact, orbs 0-1):

No, I never have but I will, this is interesting work.

A former neighbour (gone to move in with his brother after the divorce took a chunk out of his money) had a similar theory but it was based on personal experience, not astrology.

I've never done a Juno Return chart, but I will say that I've had some suspicions about Juno for a while now that somewhat lend themselves to that theory.

When I met my ex-boyfriend, transiting Juno was conjuncting my Pluto/Karma. I fell totally in love but it turned out to be a mostly one-sided affair. We broke up 6 months later, right when Juno retrograded back to the exact point where it had been the day we met.

So I think there's something to that...I'm telling you, I think there's something sneaky about Juno. I've never really trusted her.

Interesting, my ex and I broke up after five years (four of those years were living together, ie it was a marriage all but legally).

I've heard (from someone who works as a counsellor) that if a relationship gets past the first 3 months then it will become a much longer term one; so the four-five year thing adds another dimension to that.

Must look at my Juno return chart... if I can figure out how to do it.

Ok well all I've figured out is that I have my Juno return in a bit less than two years time. By then, IF me and Mr Gemini are still together, that would make it five years in total. So this is when it all hits the fan if it hasn't already huh? o.o

Mind you, transiting Juno will have just previously transited my Jupiter, Sun, Mercury and Vertex. which Juno was beginning it's last transit of when I met Mr Gemini. When I had my Juno return in 2005, I broke up with my ex and got together with Mr Gemini. That is SPOOKY! o.o

I just noticed that Mr Gemini's Saturn conjuncts my Juno. Is Saturn the planet of doom for me or what?? lol

Okay so... I'm thinking... given that Juno has to transit my nice fifth house planets before it returns (also in my fifth), and given my previous experience of this, is it feasible to say that Juno is going to give me some very nice experiences that lead up to whatever happens at the return? Could it be that every four-five years IF I'm going to experience a breakup, there will be another likely compatible partner waiting in the wings??

Oh wow, me and Mr Gem's Juno's sextile each other!

When I broke up with my ex, transiting Juno was conjunct my ex's IC, and Venus was conjunct his natal Juno and Uranus. Natally he has Juno conjunct moon and Uranus. Our Juno's trined each other.

I think you might definitely be onto something here. My last Juno return was on March 24th, 2014 and if memory serves me I think I had broken up with a guy I'd been seeing for 2-3 month right around that date. My next Juno return is this upcoming Tuesday and oddly enough the guy I briefly dated in early 2014 recently contacted me. I'm not at all interested in pursuing a relationship with him, but it's funny how he's returning now 3 days before my next Juno return lol.

I do know of a girl born 3 days before me who started dating someone back in March 2014 at her last Juno return and just yesterday on this next Juno return she broke up with her bf, so I guess that proves your theory, at least with her relationship.
