Hi,

Does anyone know of:

1- Any transits that will trigger problems with the digestive system. (Major bloating &blockages)

2- What positions/aspects would predispose a person to such conditions.

Thanks

Moon rules the stomach, and so hard aspects including even conjunctions could indicate potential digestive problems
as well as certain midpoints like Saturn/Neptune which is the health axis.

Cancer is the sign associated with the stomach and widely known associated with food
Virgo is the sign associated with the digestive system

I have a long history of digestive problems

I have Moon in Pisces(primary reflex is Virgo) in 6th square the opposition of retrograde Saturn in Gemini(secondary reflex is Virgo) in 9th and Jupiter-Neptune in Sagittarius(secondary reflex is Virgo) in 3rd
I have Moon oppose Saturn/Neptune midpoint in Virgo with 17 minutes of arc.
I have Virgo Ascendant

Saturn is associated with blockages

I think Jupiter might be involved with bloating in regards to expansion

The MARS/SATURN midpoint is a major point of potential atrophy of the tissues or organs at the degree indicated. There could be injuries to the joints
or tendons and inflammations of the muscles or bones.

The MARS/URANUS midpoint is traditionally known as the surgery or operation axis. Sometimes the aspects of other planets to this point may give
more information on what may be involved.

The MARS/NEPTUNE midpoint is a major point of potential infectious diseases at the degree indicated. Low vitality and immune weakness could bring
allergies, muscle deterioration and possible blood disorders.

The MARS/PLUTO midpoint often can be found in connection with the replacement of natural organs or functions by artificial substitutes, such as arms,
legs, joints, dentures etc.

The SATURN/URANUS midpoint often is associated with operations having to do with the removal of an organ or part of the body. This could apply to
amputations or the removal of the spleen, intestinal parts or any other organ.

The SATURN/NEPTUNE midpoint is a major point of potential chronic diseases or long-term ailments at the degree indicated. There is a tendency to
degeneration and immune system deficiency.

Asc degree makes sensitivity in:

MC degree makes sensitivity in:

Sun degree makes sensitivity in:

Moon degree makes fluid retention in:

Mercury degree makes neuralgia in:

Venus degree makes glandular swelling in:

Mars degree makes irritation or injury in:

Jupiter degree makes expansion or swelling in:

I feel people with strong Virgo traits, (Since these people are more prone to nervousness, worrying and anxiety) would probably be more suseptible to digestive issues since digestion is said to be linked to the nervous system.

Also, during times of stress, and anxiety, digestive problems can occur. Is there something you been stressing about lately?

The body responds to the mind, so if you find your mind has been racing, or worrying a lot lately, your body will be in a constant state of subtle tension, even if you don't readily notice it. This will directly affect your digestive tract. Try exercises that calm the mind into peacefulness, like meditation or yoga.

For the body, I would recommend taking a tspn of FRESH Royal Jelly (not the capsules)first thing every morning with a glass of water for a healthy stomach and digestive tract. Asian people swear by it!

They say diet soft drinks promote bloating.
Dont' know if you drink much, but if you do, it may help to cut back.

I hope you feel better!

Lack of water in a chart is suppose to indicate trouble keeping things flowing.

I have just one planet in water myself, so I've always thought that was the key. I do also have a Virgo Moon, so maybe Glaucus is right.

On the positive side, a problem digestive system will ensure (if you listen to it) that you eat properly. Getting into situations is always a matter of diet, as is getting out of these situations.

P.S. How are things in Bolloxville these days?

Oh my god, I'm going through something like this at the moment. I've been feeling like s&&t for the last couple of days [well, it's actually a week]. Currently I have this stupid burning sensation in the back of my throat and my stomach.

Cancer sun/moon/mars
Virgo rising

Thanks everyone,

Taurean Scorpio
I have a Pisces moon & a pesky planet in my 6th, perhaps this is part of the problem as you suggested.

Hey Glaucus,
Thanks for info about midpoints, what book did you get it from, I would like to know more about medical astrology.

Gemgemgemgemgem hehe!

I used to suffer from anxiety, which I internalised, so what you said makes sense to me. Nothing has upset me recently, I have been a bit piggish of late though.
I will get back into yoga practice & have a look at some royal jelly (will it make me gain weight? I'm sensitive to sugar.)

AG,
You are right, my diet has been disgraceful recently, I guess my belly is trying to tell me to fix up.

PS
Things are all fine and dandy here in the old 'ville warm & musky as usual :P
Thanks for asking LOL
