It is ok to have both Love and Attraction over the same person. I think it is "perfect".

Your thoughts...?

HI Raj,

I agree with you 100%. It depends on the relationship. In a romantic relationship, YES!!! Love and attraction go hand and hand. It makes the perfect team, but it does not always happen. Are you being more philosophical in that you are thinking, that as humans, we even base our friendships on attraction? Our best friends we love, but the attraction may have worn off.

I love my friends, but I am not attracted to them in a romantic way. I am attracted to their minds and humor. So in a sense, yes I am attracted to them and I love them.

Hmmm, these are things to think about.

I agree with you Raj. It would be perfect.

I like what pidaua said, also.

Sometimes you can be physically attracted to someone and not love them at all. In relationships, it seems like most people are attracted to a person by looks first. It's seems shallow, but happens a lot. Most of us don't even realize we're doing it.

Of course, there are the times when you don't actually see a person, but still get to know them by the image they project (what they want you to see). You might love the way they think, or how they word things, their sense of humor, what you have in common, how they make you feel. Then if you do have a chance to meet them you might change your mind. Because they really aren't like what you perceived them to be.

I remember at a job I had once there was a guy who was a very nice person. He went out of his way for people, always polite. Not bad looking. The problem was that his personal hygiene was horrible. I mean really horrible. I am sorry, but I have a hard time talking to someone if I have to plug my nose. I feel bad about it, but have never been able to change it.
