Hi Bissie,

Ah, you want to hear a story, eh? Okay. thanks for asking.

I have an online forum for writers and I knew Alex for a year before we started talking on the phone and realizing there might be something more. In the span of a week we fell madly in love with each other. I was unsure I should pursue it at the time because I thought the age difference was too much (thank you Lindaland member "eternal" for reminding me that age is illusionary) and I was going through sexual abuse recall at the time so by the time he came to visit me (he's from Tennessee, I'm from Wisconsin) I had some heavy issues on my plate. But he was so comforting and nurturing and just PERFECT for me.

Since last March we've seen each other once a month, sometimes I go there, sometimes he comes here. We talk multiple times a day. We are different enough to challenge each other yet similar enough to comfort each other and that I love.

I'm a very serious person, sometimes too dramatic and serious (I have a lot of Leo in me) and Alex is a very humorous person. He helps me lighten up and that is what I need SO MUCH.

We're already talking about our future together... he's trying to find a job here and move up here sometime this year. I'd really like to know if that is going to happen. I pray it will. There's a certain dramatic flair about long distance relationships like how intense it is each month, that first hug after not seeing each other for what seems like centuries... but I'd rather hug him every day and have him here.

So that's some of the story. Thanks for asking.

I love love.

Love

interesting story LMB, thanks for sharing. I`ve been in a long distance relationship, i know how intense the meetings after the long absence could be. Your synastry is very nice, lively and loving..and enduring.
One of the things that is worriesome is your Uranus in exact square to his Sun amd to his Saturn, which may indicate for you losing your fire in the long run and all the excitment being replaced by the sense of duty and the feeling of you being smothered and stiffed. I guess may be he would like you to be the perfect housewife, while all you want would be more exciting life and adventures. But all in all your synastry shows much love, great sexual attraction and endurance in the relationship.
Good luck

Thanks Bissie. You are right on the ball. He is at a place in his life where he wants a wife and family and I'm just not there yet. We're trying to be understanding of each other. We're working on it!

thanks!

Thanks, Randall. It's funny or not so ironic that I should meet him just when psychological issues come up that should make me fear men. He makes me feel so safe.

He arrives one week from today for a few day visit!!!

p.s. Think Auriel has time to look at our synastry? I"ll ask her directly. Hey Auriel, do you have time?

LMB, what do you want me to look at for you? I have a lot I was going to share with you when I have time. I might as well look at your relationship at the same time.

Well.. okay, here goes. Alex came into my life RIGHT WHEN my sexual abuse stuff started to surface. I feel he is supposed to help me in getting through my healing of that. I'm not really asking you if that's right or wrong b/c I know it's right... I guess I'm asking if he's meant to be more than that. you see, he is my first significant relationship and though I'm new at this, it really sometimes seems like this could be the man I spend the rest of my life with. He's already going to move up here and we'll probably eventually live together... i don't know, i don't want to have limited myself with this thinking, but I don't want to deny myself it either. IT's nice to think about the man you are going to marry, you know? But sometimes things have gone so fast with us...

One thing I'm mostly concerned about with him is the way he views his place in this uni-verse. He gets down on himself for not doing enough at his "age". He's mad that his writing hasn't been more successful (on the contrary, he's had fifty or so short stories published, I'd say that's successful! He's in the latest issue of PanGaia!) and just feels stuck in a rut. He can't just believe with his spirit, he needs proof. He can't believe in hims-elf.

Let's see, what else can I give you? That's about it, I guess. I want to sincerely thank you for looking at this. He means so much to me.

love

OK well tell this guy theFajita at your forum says he is successful (listen to me all bossy!). And I am so glad you found someone to help you during this difficult time. You have a lot of courage and I respect that!

I'm really sad. Alex is supposed to drive on up here from Tennessee today to visit me for a few days (our monthly visit) but it's snowing so badly he might not come. He's going to decide later on today.

I take someone leaving really hard (abandonment issues) and I know that I"ll see him again next month but my heart is just breaking...
