Just wondering if anyone had any experience with soul mates who had conjunct Ascendents or a Sun/Moon/NN/vertex conjunct with descendent. Any thoughts?

Asc conj sun is a powerful indicator of a good long lastring relationship.

I've read that couples that had this aspect were able to resolve their differences even when their entire synastry chart was bad.

I've read that Sun conjuct Descendant is a really good aspect in synastry because the descendant is what you look for in a partner. I think it's pretty true .

Thanks Everlong. However I was hoping from a bit more on the matter. If anyone has any links about Desc conjunct with Sun, Moon, NN or vertex, or know of any books that go into this, I'd appreciate it!

what does it mean when a man's True Node is right smack on top of my Neptune?

actually, there are several nodal contacts in my chart with this one guy who, for the past 2 years, i have had quite a wild ride with.....we met online....i went to Madrid to meet him last Fall, and now we're barely able to maintain a friendship at all (long story).....in spite of ourselves and our difficulties, we seem to be "tied" to one another....it's been quite painful, too, to say the least...i truly feel we were together in past lives, and in fact, two psychics have told me that, but i usually reserve a grain of salt for things like that cuz so much is open to interpretation...

anyway, if anyone would like to tell me about the possible karma here, i would appreciate it greatly, since i haven't really been able to figure it out myself

also, the descriptions in the links above only describe "conjunctions".......now, conjunctions, are they the same sign? does it mean the two planets are 'touching'? and if there's a connection, like there is one between my True Node and Javier's Mars, does that mean it's not "valid", or it doesn't mean much?

It's funny that you mentioned Sun conj Desc. I think you are right about that, it's a very powerful aspect, even more powerful than sun conj asc. Since with the sun conj desc, the sun is very likely to be in the 7th house, which dictates marriage

The specific synastry between these two charts that I've working on which compelled me to ask about this is this (just the highlights - I'm not at liberty to post the birth times of actual charts):

A's sun conjunct B's DESC (by a mere 0'13")
A's Venus in B's 7th house and orb conjunct B's DESC (by 5')
A's NN in B's 6th house and orb conjunct B's DESC (by 3')
A and B's ASCs conjunct (by 7')

There are indicators in this synastry of strong sexual attraction, but also of serious ego conflict. The reason why I asked about this is I was trying to balance out the pros and cons in this synsatry and discern, if possible, how these aspects might either help smooth out the ego issue or help maintain a egnuine relationship after the initial fire has burned out. I initutiively feel like i'm not seeing something in these aspects (or the combination of aspects) that I should, so I'm a bit bepuzzled.
