There have been a few questions on synastry and I wanted to show those who are trying it what type of information you can glean from it.

Awhile ago I decided to look at my most important relationships and see what, if anything they have in common. I also wanted to prove that astrology can be a roadmap in relationships. It can show you where the detours and landmarks are, but you'll never be able to look and see when, if, how, or why it won't or will work out. As you can see below in the next post my Mother and I have many difficult aspects and you know what she ain't going nowhere. I'll fight for that relationship going down in flames, lol. Best part is she will too. Good luck to everyone trying it out.

Amazingly, My Mother's Sun and Moon trine my Venus! Wow, with those in our corner how could we fail. Her Mercury trines my Mars - I understand her in a way no one else does.

Tough aspects... Her Sun squares my Jupiter and her Sun opposes my Mercury - nearly everything about our personalities, ideas, and decisions in life are different. Her Venus squares my Mars - some anger and jealousy there, Mars opposes my Neptune - this aspect definitely points to some troublesome behavior as a parent.

grandfather: Just the Positives here, he wasn't the best man in the world to everyone. But, to me was a saint.

His Sun conjuncts my Sun, Moon trine my Venus, Mercury conjunct my Mercury, Venus conjunct my Venus, Mars trined my Sun.

I didn't delve into this relationship because I know how good it was. There were a few other positive aspects and five negative ones. However, it doesn't matter, We managed to sidestep them all and like my Mother no chance that he was going anywhere.

Most interesting about this relationships is his Sun trines my Sun and Moon trines my Venus - we get along so well and have since the first moment we met. His Mercury trines my Mercury and Mars conjuncts my Mercury - He always says that he's very open with me and so am I, this aspect helps, Moon trines my Uranus = fun & weirdness (in a good way), His Mars trines my Saturn - couldn't find much info on this as far as synastry. Just know it's a loving and friendly aspect with a touch of longevity.

Aspects that are not helping our relationship... His Venus squares my Pluto and his Sun opposes my Mars - we have little fights on occasion and he likes to be "the man" and I am fairly independent, so... repeat after me ~ head-butting, lol. It doesn't help that we are also very passionate and he's a jealous type. One more thing, his Sun squares my Venus. No info on this at all, but for my relationship it means he withholds affection when things are not perfect and I then have to coax him into being more demonstrative. This is by far the toughest aspect for me, a Taurus who needs affection/sex in a relationship. It's surprising how easily a Virgo can turn it off.

ex boyfriend:
Venus conjunct Venus - upon first meet, definitely an immediate zing! zing! zing! to this relationship, His Pluto sextile my Moon - Very nice aspect (it was nice being different from others and on the dark side). Helping those aspects along was his Mercury trine my Neptune (good for fantasy) and his Uranus trine my Mercury (interest in trying everything). Aspects that didn't help the relationship work... His Uranus opposed my Jupiter - He missed the excitement of being single, out and about, and meeting new girl's.

Her Sun trined my Pluto and my Sun trined her Pluto - very sexy! quick fire that was quickly extinguished, lol., Sun trined my Jupiter - this is a lovely aspect, friendly and loving. Aspects that didn't help the relationship... Mars opposed my Jupiter (very different belief systems) and Mars opposed my Pluto (too many passionate feelings)

friend and one time crush: (crush despite 10+ year age difference)
Many good aspects for this guy. His Sun trines my Jupiter - we're just on the one wavelength and fun together, Moon trines my Mercury, Mercury trines my Mars, & Sun sextile my Mercury (interested in the same things/books), Venus sextiles my Uranus & Mars trines my Pluto - again get along really well and a lot of flirting.

Now for aspects that may help explain why we aren't/never will be a couple... His Mars squares my Jupiter and Jupiter squares my Saturn, at times we are very annoying to each other. Because there are so many positive aspects, we can easily take a break from each other. But, couldn't do that if dating.

Again, good luck to everyone studying synastry. hope my research was of even a small help. Just know if you want a good relationship, you have to work on it, maybe a little more than some other's out there. But, you can make it through, if you want to.

I am new here and I just notice your results on synastry. I want to ask you if you noticed any aspects between The Nodes of the Moon of one person and any personal planet or with the main axes of another's? I've heard if is not any of this specific aspect cold not be a segnificant relationship, less to say longlasting...

Hi,

I could not find much information about synastry and nodes, so I didn't include it. As it was, finding information about which planets influence relationships the most and the different aspects was challenging enough.
