Hello all,
I have a sort of short, probably very silly question but I still want to know people's opinions.

The older guy I had a 'thing' with has not contacted me in over 2 months in what I guess is a last-ditch attempt to stop anything more happening between him and an underage girl (also so nothing jepeordises his new career I suspect).

Anyway, he has changed most of the pictures on his myspace to new ones but the only two old ones he left were the ones I left comments on and have told him he looks gorgeous in.
Does it mean he feels a tad sentimental?
That he just values or is flattered by my opinion?
Or coincidence?
Either way, thank you for any comments

Capricorn is opposite of Cancer. We're not supposed to be sentimental, but I know that I am. I still have stuff from like 17-18 years ago from special people.

AG- Hi. Yeah, but nearly everyone's a bit sentimental. My point is about who people choose to feel sentimental about. Sure he has the capability of feeling sentimental and has even said things like he also sometimes thinks about things we've said but I don't know... I mean if he's making himself 'let go' of me why would he care about my comments? Just speculating. Thanks for replying.

and- hey, cool username by the way . Thanks for your info... I suppose I didn't really guess that a guy would be sentimental like I am. And definitely not about me, so I guess I'm asking what the odds are, or to hear similar experiences.

That is a tough speculation indeed.

You commented that he was gorgeous, so it's possible he kept those up for his own ego's sake - as proof that someone finds him attractive.

Have you tried talking with him lately?

No, well, that's the thing,
I didn't put that he was gorgeous in the comment. I said it to him like "Oh, you look gorgeous in that picture" so it's not for the comment's content and the other picture I just included some private joke that only he and I would know meant that I fancy him.

The last time I was able to try talking with him was hmm.... maybe June but he hasn't spoken to me since April 29th. You see it's all over Instant Messenger normally, so after being nice to me again in April, he then went off touring in May and when he got back he just wouldn't reply to any of my IMs (which btw were polite and not overly-needy). Then, he began putting his status to away when I got online until one day I got so annoyed I changed my username to "ok, i get the message!" and mysteriously he comes back online! A while later, and I never see him online at all anymore (either cos he's not online or I'm blocked, don't know).
Despite this pointing huge fingers towards me potentientially doing something to warrant this. I really haven't. The last time we actually spoke we were on good terms and nothing that I can see has happened to trigger this behaviour other than probably his own paranoia that there are journalists hiding in his room ready to expose an up and coming 'rockstar' as a pervert.

I think he kept those pics up because they were flattering. I wouldn't read too much into it.

My humble advice to you? You don't have to give up on this guy, but don't pin all your hopes on him, either.

You're a very sharp, funny girl -- and mature for your age. Keep your chin up, pursue your favorite hobbies, meet new people -- there are plenty of guys out there, believe me.

Hey MNF, This is kind of off-topic but can I've your email?? You're my age and we both have Cap ascendants and the infamous trio in Cap (Saturn, Uranus, Neptune) so I figured it would be cool to talk to you.

Anyways on the photo issue: I'm a Cap and I know I'm sentimental, but were you the only one who commented on both of the pictures and also, maybe he just kept the pics cause he liked the pics, I really dunno. And I agree with AG, I keep pics of me in which ppl say I look attractive, so whenever I'm a bit sad or need a boost of confidence, I just use that for boosting my ego. I'm not sure though.

Yep, maybe you're right. This is a hard one to call I guess, but on one of them, my comment was the only one until just recently that commented something nice about his appearance and on the other picture my comment is the only one from a girl and it has a kind of private joke which only he would know meant "You look so hot in this!" haha in other words....

And I've told him privately that I think his myspace pictures are 'cute'.

Anyway, none of this really matters anymore as I've just discovered he's blocked me on messenger. So. Even if he still does fancy me or care about my opinion it's a) a funny way of showing it and b) this kind of thing would make being friends again very awkward and one hell of an effort.
So, yes. Life is hell at the moment. haha

ps. re: the blocking thing. Please, no one suggest maybe I've done something to warrant this, as I haven't and only people who've been unfortunate enough to read my previous miserable topics will know why he's done this! V v complicated.
