So, I met this person quite some time ago and upon meeting I felt as if I had always known him. I don't know how to explain it, but it was like when I looked into his eyes, he was speaking to me. We have an intuitive bond.

Of course those things are all well and good.

Here is what makes me go hmmmmmmmmmm...

Recently, we were speaking and he was thanking me for something that I knew meant a lot to him. As he was speaking, our eyes locked and it was as if a bolt of pale blue light/energy came from his eyes and then it felt like it went zapping around my heart and then all through my body.

What on earth was this? Was it just me intuitively picking up on his feelings of gratefulness, or a soul mate/twin soul connection, or some other kind of freaky stuff? I mean, I'm not psychic. I don't see auras, or spirits, or anything else. Oh, and I just had an eye exam and my eyes are quite healthy so it isn't anything wrong with my eyes.

I know what you are talking about...I have experienced it too;

I think its more like a past-life connection, not necessarily a soul/twin mate thing;

I wonder if you have any Venus/Uranus synastry aspects...

Peri, thanks for your reply. We have venus/pluto, venus/jupiter, venus/neptune, venus/mars, and venus/mercury synastry contacts but not venus/uranus.

If you don't mind, would you describe your experience?

I met this guy at work; actually he was my boss. When I first met him at the interview I just instantly had a very strong feeling that I had known him for years…I cannot describe it.. it was like I met an old buddy I hadn’t seen for ages; and he seemed to feel something like that too. When we shook hands he cast a glance at me and then quickly lowered his eyes and seemed very bewildered and embarrassed. Few minutes later we were sitting and talking, our eyes locked and I suddenly had a feeling that “a bolt of pale blue light/energy came from my eyes and then went all through his eyes and body”! (just the way you describe it!)
We evoked very strong emotional reactions and feelings (not romantic!) in each other as if we had had a long history before; it felt crazy. I was never in love with him. I don’t think he was in love with me either but he definitely was obsessed. There was nothing between us, nothing was even said.
Eventually the tension got unbearable and I had to quit.
I know the story sounds complete nonsense … but I cannot describe it any better…

Wow Peri! That is eerily similar. Thank you for sharing. I still don't quite know what to make of it, other then there is a connection there. What I should do with it, I have no idea.

Well the only advice I can give you: be careful and patient no matter where it takes you; don't let it control you;
you both definitely have some karma to work out so make the best of it... not like I did trying to ignore it...

Both of these are so wonderful sounding! I had a similar experience, but... it wasn't exactly the same. I was trying to find a seat in a crowded auditorium on a school trip and this boy and his friend stood up to give me and my friend their seats (Without saying a word; they just moved) and I made eye contact with one and froze. I felt connected somehow, and I don't remember the feeling of a light, but... there was definately something there. (And there still is since we've been dating since May ^_^)

I wish I could give you more insight, like Peri did, but that's the only thing close to this I've experienced. I'd go to a past life seminar and see whether or not you recognize him in a past life; that's what I'm going to do as soon as my friend has her next seminar. I'm gonna try to get my boyfriend to come with me, but his views are a bit more conservative than mine are... good luck with both of you, though! Take care!
