Looks interesting... I can't get it on Blockbuster online though. Did it just get released on DVD? IP: Logged |

Maybe because I'm Australian i'm biased but we do some great films here.Candy is a Brilliant film....how bittersweet is their love. All that darkness and drug addiction could certainly be seen as Piscean. Another film of similar ilk staring Cate Blanchett called "Little Fish' deals with similar issues - a must see. Also we currently have a drama series on foxtel called "Love my Way" its upto series 3. It wins all sorts of awards here - it is the most beautiful, touching and real life story I've ever seen - without the sugar coating! If you love high emotion that is very real you must check it out. I read the book 10+ years ago! I don't care to see the movie, because I do not enjoy watching people suffer. I felt physically ill watching trainspotting when it came out. I've become way too sensitve as I've aged. These types of themes/movies stay with me for a long long time. Reading however is a totally different experience for me because if things begin to get too overwhelming I can put it down and deal with it, then return to it on my own terms. Movies are just flashing scary stuff too quickly, I can't deal in a healthy way. IP: Logged |
