Just a note to say I don`t lump you with anyone.

You are a bright star that don`t get lost in the schuffle of anothers folly.

Now everyone is wondering what I`m going on about.... simply this, I desired to take a moment and tell MM :

I admire you, amongst your many values, for your kind heart, Spirituality and loyalties.

Shine on

love,juni

Juni, thank you so much for letting me know your thoughts. I worried once that our hard earned understanding had been tainted and I did not want to weaken it any further. I am relieved our connection remains intact. I value it. And you are sweet

I was in Springfield for a day and a half.
Lincoln Conference Center
I got to sit on the steps of the old Capitol Bldg (of Illinois) where Lincoln gave the speech...

"A house divided against itself cannot stand. I believe this government cannot endure permanently half-slave and half-free. I do not expect the Union to be dissolved - I do not expect the house to fall - but I do expect it will cease to be divided. It will become all one thing or all the other."

Juni, That was beautiful.

Good to see you Mel! Great quote.

It is wrong to think that love comes from long companionship
and persevering courtship. Love is the offspring of spiritual
affinity and unless that affinity is created in a moment, it
will not be created for years or even generations.

~ Khalil Gibran

Friendship is harmony, friendship is peace, friendship is bliss.
Friendship is harmony. Mutual harmony removes all dark conflicts.
Each individual has opinions of his own,
but when friendship becomes the connecting link between two persons,
all conflicts are removed and they become one.

Hi ladies!

Ah! MM, you are out doing great things for the soul and here I sit reading S.K. Dumas Key...

That speech was inspiring and motivated the country for a greater cause. I totally agree, United We Stand, Divided We Fall.

So we carry water and chop wood for the Unity we Seek

26: Friendship is harmony. Mutual harmony removes all dark conflicts.

I am enriched to know both you ladies!!

Forgive the short responses since I'm overwhelmed with final papers, but I love knowing all of you. I can't wait to know you all even better. Juni, I'll have to look up what you are reading sometime, knowing your taste it is surely worthwhile! T, you know I love you.

Randall, I read what you wrote on the other thread. It meant a lot... (oh and you probably know what a great compliment this "you rock!" is to me...)
Seriously again though, thank you for all of your reassuring words. They were a gift, though they were not needed. I knew what was going on and I read thoroughly... I was just worried that some others might have missed a thread or some posts and might get the wrong idea. I didn't want to take the chance at poisoning new relationships that I consider worthwhile. (Oh, and I was mad. And frustrated. )
You rock too, R. You will always have a place in my heart. Your contribution to the world (by creation and maintenance of this site alone) has given me so many valuable gifts. Nothing could ever lessen their impact or value. Thank you, Randall.
