After everything I have been through the last two years, I just thought I would ask if anyone else has had an experience with a Cancer man who has a Capricorn Moon? I have been through all the Cancer Man stuff...the back and forth, side dancing, non committal, disappearing stuff. It's wonderful when we are together, and then he gets scared and backs up. I know the Capricorn Moon makes him very reserved about emotions. And he has Saturn in the Fifth House in Scorpio. Also very cautious and reserved about love. He's always kept it very casual and part time, very cool about how he really feels. Didn't want a real relationship, where we are part of each other's life. I told him on May 31st that I was tired, and that I couldn't do it anymore. This in between place of dating, and a real relationship. That I had been waiting two years for it to turn into something real. That something this good should have naturally progressed into something real. That I thought if I gave him enough time, that he would want it too. He just said he wasn't ready to make a committment. So I said, "well, I wanted a relationship, and you didn't. So I guess you won. But in the bigger sphere of things, you lost me." And he said he didn't want to lose me, but he didn't want to lose himself in the process. So we haven't spoken since that weekend. But this is probably the third communication break we've had like this over the two years...and he always comes back. But it was always the same casual level, because I just didn't want to let him go. Because I missed him so much. So I put up with it the way it was in order not to lose him.

I guess in some ways I feel good about finally having that talk with him, because I finally stood up for myself and what I wanted. And I guess if he does come back, it will be more along the lines of a real relationship. And if he doesn't come back, then it wasn't meant to be. And I will finally have my answer from the universe.

Sorry to blab on like this...I am just sort of at a low point today, and was feeling kind of down.

No need to apologize, they make you want to do this from time to time. But you can't hate them, can you???? Because they never ever hurt you or demean you...it's a strange way of respecting you while rejecting you but not really rejecting you. Sighhh....good luck...

I am sorry that you are so sad venus in gemini. One day at a time and I’m sure there is a rosier picture in sight for you very soon.

If you don’t mind me asking, did you discuss what this means with your Cancer? How does he feel he would lose himself? Yes, it’s important to stand up for what you want, but I think it’s also important to listen to what the other person is telling you. Maybe, if you can reassure this fear he might be in a better place for you? I don’t know…you may be passed even wanting to do this.

You are not alone. It surprises me we have so much in common....... My man is also a Cancer Sun/Capricorn Moon. He has saturn in Capricorn. And me... Gemini Venus(actually Sun and Mars too). I know how frustrating it is. You have great patience, two years is not a short time. I wish I have your patience too. I don't want to lose him and I want to accept him as he is.
Good luck to you. Good time will come if you believe it will.

well i have said this before and i'll say this again ,this so called non commital behaviour is very much difficult to understand in a cancer man's case (not bcos ,they are some great manipulators or something - which they are normally cnsidered to be ) .
the main reason is , we are very respectful to all around us especially if we have a bit liking of the person .
at times what happens is , we might be knowing of the other person 's intentions but we wont dispute the feelings just not to hurt the person ,that too mainly bcos somewhere we might be likng the person though in a non romantic way.
i can say this bcos i have been in such situations .

the key to understnding a cancer man is , simply think how a woman behaves in similar situation .
Just try to remember , how many times you might have acted in the same manner (that i just explained )in case of a friend or colleague .
how many times , were you blunt ?
and why not ?

the answer is , somewhere you respected his feelings, didn't you ?

well the confusion starts bcos , in case of men which see them through preconceived notions of machoism where cancer men with all their emotions dont really fit .

coming back to the main riddle , how do you know if he is really into you ?
well , this one is sure to say but in your case , now that you have openly talked with him and he has somewhat answered positively(his sentences were positive, i feel) he is into you .
if he was not , he would not have said so , we are pretty honest people at that .
we wouldn't keep in dark , if you are a friend .

with all this , there are always some chances of manipulations , this is where you need to decide , is there something that he might be after , say sex......
if the answer is no , i am pretty sure of his feelings for you , this is what i gather from the converstaions .

and Happy B'day !!!!!!!!
this is my gift to you (i was not planning to post , i earlier read this postand moved over then i read you B'day thread , but i am happy i did .... cancer woman are special .... period! so tell your man its his loss if he dosen't realaise this )

and yeah do tell what all you did on your b'day ? shall be waiting .....

I kind of thought his answer was positive too. I’m not a Cancer though.

Thanks guys! It helps to talk to people about what I am going through. It does help me to hear other's perspectives. I've always felt that he loves me, just from how he treats me when we are together. It is this great sense of peace and belonging. It's like coming home. Very easy and compatible. Amazing chemistry. So I couldn't understand why it didn't pick up to the next level, to something more real. I've had 4 psychics tell me that he loves me beyond belief, but he is afraid. Of opening up his heart and getting hurt again. Of letting someone in again. He was badly hurt from an abusive marriage. We actually had similar, 20 year marriages. The emotional abuse, etc. from my husband and his wife.

I also had a psychic tell me this was a twin soul/soulmate relationship. Well, I didn't believe the first psychic. I figured they just tell everyone that. But after the 4th psychic told me the same thing, I started to wonder. That is when I started looking at our astrological charts...the synastry, etc. And one of the old members who used to post, IQHunk, looked at our charts and said he was 95% sure this man was my twin soul. He was looking at the astrological aspects, and also from a mathmatical probablility standpoint. He said that it would take the patience of Job to attract a twin soul in denial. Or who was running, anyway.

So in an effort to understand more, I had an energy session where they brought in his higher self, and all the over souls from our past lifetimes. She detailed out the top 5 lifetimes the guides were showing her that were affecting this lifetime. I betrayed him in every lifetime. Every one of them. So I went through a forgiveness ceremony/ritual, asking him to forgive me, in an effort to clear some of the karma. Because I owe him all the karma from all of the past lives.

So I have been struggling with holding on, which I have been doing for two years, and finally giving up. The psychics all saw it coming together this summer.

I know he has issues he is working through. I told him that we had opened up each other's wounds. But that you had to open those wounds in order to heal them. I know that all my wounds have opened up in these past two years, and I have had to take an honest look at them. I guess that's what he is doing now. That if it is meant to be, then he will come back. That he will actually be ready for a relationship.
