Being a capricorn I am all to aware of the aloofness and cation of this sign. I am curious as to how a cap in venus effects an already aloof aquarius sun person? Or a Cap sun with an aqua venus? They are known for being the most detached of the signs so how would having one in venus effect someone in matters of the heart? How do you attract/court a venus cap?IP: Logged |

And me!I'm the worst... Seriously. The kicker is a 5th house Leo moon, so I don't like being alone. I love relationships and love... but the way I go about getting or having a relationship is... odd. I feel bad for people who love me sometimes, I must drive them nuts with my very non-commital behaviour. And affection in public? Forget it! I like my side of the bed, don't even think about cuddling... and when things get tough, I can revert back to your "pal" in a nano second. Saves me getting hurt. IP: Logged |

hi there! my youngest sister, a 27-yr old school administrator (already has a master's degree and all that) is an aqua sun/virgo moon/venus in capricorn. this combo makes her very objective, kewl (as in cucumber-cool), detached, scientific, and rational. when she cuts, she cuts clean --- with almost no emotions at all. she calls a spade a spade, with no holds barred. as a result, she may run roughshod over other people's feelings, but she will tell it like it is. especially as an administrator when she has to deal with subordinates, she may benefit from a little more tactfulness and finesse--- and I know she's working diligently at this coz my sister is very intelligent, and she is a quick study, to say the least (all that aqua-virgo nervous mental energy!). how to court/woo a venus in cappy, therefore? well, it helps if you're quite formal, conservative, mind your P's and Q's, and not get too familiar on your first few dates. cultivate an interest in history, antiques, old black-and-white movies, and other vintage stuff that has stood the test of time. Venus in Capricorn ladies respect tradition, lineage, heritage, and those past-oriented stuff --- anything that reeks of respectability and a certain age past 50 golden years or something. They value hard-won WISDOM and PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE. well, i hope this helped a bit in the ongoing discussion... blessed be! ------------------

My Aqua (although we're no longer dating) has a Virgo moon and Cap Venus. He wanted me to move to where he lived, get married, have the white picket fence, etc. I was too young and had my wild oats to sow.We've always remained friends and "redated" occasionally. I never saw him as cool. When we broke up, I was more detached. He wrote me beautiful poems and said he knew we'd be together again. Imagine that!  However, his style was pretty compatible to mine. I know he drove all of his other girlfriends bananas! I agree with Linda on that one...the trick to winning an Aqua's heart is to be that first love. (Not necessarily the first girlfriend or person he's dated though.) 8th IP: Logged |

AquaGuy,so how does that combination work for you? Are you straight forward and direct with your interest? The guy I was most in love with had aqua sun and venus in capricorn (moon and mars in gemini) and boy did I try very long and hard with this guy (even if it was in my subdued capricorn ways...:-) Never managed to get anything off the ground , even though I always sensed attraction from his side and he asked me out for a coffee once. One of my best friends is also an aqua with venus in capricorn (moon in sagitt. mars in gemini). Very, very intelligent and aloof lady. Hard to win her heart, but when you have it, she is yours completley. All of her relationships started off with friendhsip. IP: Logged |

I would say I more like both of your examples... I think I tend too move to slow sometimes...Maybe it's a little bit of shyness? One interesting thing I've noticed about myself is this: the majority of singers/bands/love songs I like are permormed by Capricorns (Kiss Paul Stanley, Queensryche Geoff Tate, Pat Benatar, etc... I didn't realize that until I looked up their sun signs... ------------------

Thanks AquaGuy! Ah, your capricorn taste in music might be your venus in capricorn speaking. Can I just ask whether your venus in capricorn also 'shows' when it comes to women? (read somewhere a man's venus is supposed to indicate to some extent the kind of women he's attracted ot) i.e. have you noticed that the women you like tend to have some kind of capricorn placements or a strong saturn? Or do they tend to have a completely different signature? Very curious and many thanks :-) !!IP: Logged |

Hmmm... I don't know all the placements of all the girls I've been with - I just know their Sun Signs... Let's see - going in order from past to present: 1. Pisces Girl
2. Libra Girl
3. Cancer Girl (She was much more attracted to Me than Me to her, but, we still eventually married...)
4. Leo Girl
5. Cancer Girl again
6. Leo Girl again
7. Pisces Girl again now
