It's so odd how last Sunday we had an awesome day together. Now she's in a severe slump and being totally vicious to me. Nothing I say or do is right, any reply is totally wrong. She says she hates being like this and to not take it personally. I've been taking it with a grain of salt but my patience is beginning to wear thin...very thin. Any thoughts or advice? I simply don't won't to be around her when she's like this, which in turn makes her mad. Geez, it's a lose/lose situation for me. Help!!!IP: Logged |

She's very very sensitive right now and expects you to read her mind like she reads yours. You have to be there to listen and be sweet when she wants you to be. Don't engage her in too much of the BS, just ride out the storm, she'll be back soon.IP: Logged |

Well I have to disagree slightly.
You see I am of the opinion that people only treat us the way we allow them to.
If she behaves like this and you put up with it then you set a pattern to be the whipping boy whenever things go wrong in her world.
We all have crap times, bad days but why should someone feel it's ok to take it out on someone close?
There is no need for you to go all psycho.If despite all your best efforts she is still being vile to you, calmly remove yourself, do not contact her until she calms down and contacts you, then return with not a hint of recrimination or a mention of said incidents.
Rather as one would do with a screaming toddler.They find it amazingly dull without an audience.
If you don't do this you will then become responsible for her unhappiness, her happiness and just about every other damn thing she can lay on you.
And you will never be right no matter what you do.
There is a big difference between being empathetic and being a dumping ground for someone's bad moods.IP: Logged |

I have the same problem with my Scorpio friend. He's in his Saturn return, and I understand it's difficult, but, seriously, he can be viscious as well, or sometimes just totally unavailable.For three years I've dealt with his moods, giving myself a thousand excuses for why he behaves certain ways at certain times, and frankly, I'm just done. We can still be friends, but this guy needs to wear a Hazmat suit in order to be able to be in public. I wish you better luck!!! IP: Logged |

She sounds exactly like a Scorpio lady I knew, who was v. sensitive and would pull the same thing. The man she was dating was a friend of mine, and he loved her, they were both my friends. So I'm giving you here the inside scoop on what's going through her mind. quote:

Give her some space..Don t contact much,but you should never never cut the contact..
You can give her some book or movie which is meaningfull for her situation...
Especially a thing which shows your situation together...

I hope you're able to get a little space and hopefully some understanding from her what she is putting you through. It's never okay to be vicious to someone and expect them to put up with it. Regardless of a person's sign, it always bugs me when someone can't sensor what they say. Or, just remove themselves for some introspection if they have something going on that doesn't involve the recipient of their mood swings. IP: Logged |
