I read something today that quite struck me...It said that when dealin with Virgos, one must discern between (their version of constructive critisism) and emotional abuse... I realized I have been dealing with this with my Virgo mother for FIFTY years and it is reliving itself with this Virgo man... Opinions, please? Thanks! t~ IP: Logged |

Hate to sound cliche, but I think it would depend of what else is in the chart. Virgo coupled with a water sign for sure could lead to emotional abuse.IP: Logged |

Ugh...Virgos!!! And I say that cause I'm a Virgo myself  but I just came out of a relationship with a Virgo man and he was emotionally unavailable, cold, calculating and was a MAJOR player!! He basically cheated on every girl before me and also cheated on me....I'll stick with Scorps....they're my addiction!!!!  IP: Logged |

Ya'all I love em too!I am just trying to understand. And per my research I stumbeled upon this query. I know for a fact my Virgo mother emotionally abused me terribly, but in retrospect was she just being a Virgo? This man, who has won my heart is a over-Virgo  I am not the kind of person to just up and walk away, I want to understand, know why and learn. I am not saying that all Virgos are emotional abusers, but alot of them can sure come off that way, IF we dont walk in their earthy shoes and see things from their persepctive. blessins! t~  IP: Logged |

And o boyyyyyyyAm I ever having to walk in the earth shoes! Actually I love earth signs cause they bring me down from my Pisces fantasy...walking 3 feet above ground all one's life is where I live, but sometimes it is good to touch base..(atleast I have a Bull Moon to help me along) "ground control to major tom......" Where is his Mars? I grew up with a pretty nasty alcoholic Virgo. Moon in Aqua, Venus in Scorpio, Mars in Cancer. Everywhere he looked someone was committing an offense against him, for which he must retaliate. His boss was a jerk for being rough with him. It has nothing to do with his lateness, and no-call, no-shows. It was also happenstance he as paid at a higher rate than the other guys for doing the same job. Doesn't matter, he was fired because the boss was a jerk who never liked him. IP: Logged |

I have a Cancer mom with Virgo moon and Leo AC and I understand completely. COMPLETELY. Thanks, Nine for your comment, it was validating and slightly healing. It is better to know it is just her nature, rather than "my mother hates me". I know she doesn't. It just very often FEELS like she DOES. I am better myself now at not taking things personally so it doesn't bother me as much as it used to when I was little.
