Hello!I've been following this site for a year or so, but this is my first post. I've never used a forum before, and am not really the type to post, but I am so distraught over this I figured it couldn't hurt. Over a year ago, I focused my energy and asked the universe for my needs/wants in love. (the specifics are not necessary) A man, who I ended up in a relationship with, came into my life shortly after, fully meeting my description. X, Y, Z occurred and we had a falling out. Eight months after our break up, I decided that I was ready to focus my energies again. I'll call it a prayer. Ten minutes after my prayer I received a text message from him. For two month we communicated as friends, leading him to tell me that he was not interested in a long distance relationship (we live separately at this point). Therefore, for my emotional health, I decided to cease contact. Fast forward a few months:
This evening, I once again, sent a prayer out for romantic love, and ten minutes later received a text message from him. Is this the universe sending him back to me?
If so, why does the universe keep sending him back if he does not want to pursue a relationship with me? I'm not the dramatic sort, I just can't pass this off as coincidence as I did the first two times. I'd really appreciate any thoughts! Thanks! IP: Logged |

Hi there, well to answer your question just briefly: Of course it is! I'm sure you know that there's no such thing as coincidence..
Question is rather: Why? And there's plenty of possible answers to that... what does your chart say about the kind of relationship that you seek? Often when we send out prayers or wishes we tend to go about it quite rationally. We wish for that what we THINK we need or want. Sometimes the truth lies a little deeper. Maybe deep down inside you love the drama. Or the universe is trying to tell you to hold on because it might be worth it. Or you're not the one learning a lesson here, but rather he is - after all, there seems to be something about you that keeps drawing him in.... So again, to anwser your question: Yes. tiger when we ask the universe for our soulmate that is xyz we will get xyz as that is the law of attraction. and if he comes into your life because you pray ask for the door to be nailed back that no man can change. thats if you want. but xyz works in funny ways. the other person in question the man may have prayed for xyz or not known about xyz. why are you going crazy. just keep praying for xyz. it works. prayer for what you want or are you scared of deep water imtimacy committment and like happiness and joy that you dont ask for keeping xyz in your life. or are you just lazy and immature. that you going crazy with doubts that you dont do the footwork. with contining to pray to keep xyz. or are you just ignorant of the laws of attraction. never mind. its none of my business. its your business. share what you want. take what you like and leave the rest. anyway big hugs. hugs your linda goodman friend. saronnaIP: Logged |

Great answers! Yep, we get what we pray for but you have to be careful of using your own intellect/wisdom/ego to pray for specifics. Do an internet search for the story of The Monkey's Paw. Next time pray for the relationship/love that is right for you at this time in your life to help you grow and do the Will of The Universe. <3 Then buckle up and be brave. IP: Logged |

Hello! Thank you guys so much for your responses! I just wanted to clarify that I am aware that one should never pray for a specific person's love. I did not send out energy asking for him to return. I sent out intentions to help attract an honest, nurturing, and committed love. IP: Logged |

Speaking for myself, in my mind I meant not to pray for too many specifics because I did that once and got it... but left too many things out.  It is better to pray for what is perfect for your growth toward that ultimate relationship (that's what I've read anyway). It's tough either way. Growth is messy and all that.  I know.IP: Logged |
