Most of what I have read about venus retrograde says it's a bad time to start a relationship. I met my partner 8 days before venus went direct but we didn't get into a formal relationship until later. He also had venus retrograde in his natal chart. Would this indicate a karmic connection? Does a relationship start during first contact, first meeting, or when an exclusive relationship is decided on? Can karmic relationships last - can they be successful when karma is worked through- or are they destined to end? Thanks IP: Logged |

I once dated a man I had a karmic link with. Usually, karmic relationships are the purpose of teaching you certain lessons so you can balance your karma. Once the lesson is learned, the relationship organically dissipates and you're both set free. This is what happened for me. We were on and off for two years, once my lessons were learned, he disappeared. I no longer wanted him in my life. It doesn't mean you stop loving them, it just means you no longer see the point of being with them. Karmic relationships might make you feel like you've met "the one" (at first) but once the issues are settled, you end up wondering what drew you to them in the first place. Good luck  IP: Logged |

Re: karmic relationships: That's a good question... I'm not sure where I stand when it comes to the whole karma thing. It's so confusing and complicated (or seems to be, to me).Personally, I had a relationship that started during a Venus Rx period and it didn't last very long (and it was long-distance); besides the feelings fluctuated a lot on both sides. However it might be different for people who have Venus Rx natally.
