Topic: How to proceed with a Taurus guy?

So I'm a Libra, he's a Taurus - I'm attracted to him and we have similar personalities. Here's a link to our charts if it's helpful: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum35/HTML/005170.html After a few months of glancing and smiling at each other, we finally started FB messaging a lot. Conversation went smoothly and I felt comfortable talking to him. We found out that our dads even worked together. We planned on hanging out. Everything stopped though when he said his ex came back and he wanted to work things out w/ her. I deleted him from FB (for me--not in a mean way) but we eventually started talking as friends. When I found out he was leaving the job suddenly, I re-requested him and he declined me but apologized and gave me his number. (??) He re-added me on FB a month later- looks like they broke up. He never texted me though to my surprise, so I texted him a week later. He responded but, by the time he did, I already thought "Oh, I guess he's never going to" and didn't respond (it was one of those days and looking back, he was probably at work lol). He sent me a request on another site too that same night but he deleted it after I posted something on FB. **I'm almost done** lol A week after that, I liked a photo of his on FB, he immediately liked mine and I liked another of his. He sent me a winky face smiley and I said "lol goodnight" because it was near midnight and I was going to sleep. He told me goodnight too. But basically - was I giving the impression that I'm not interested? Because looking back that's how I'm seeing it...but I do still want to get to know him. I don't know what's going on with him though and don't wanna pester him...I do know that he's job hunting (he'd been temping) and I have a hunch that he might not want me to know that (but that's another story...) I just don't know how to proceed w/ him? I've told myself to just look for other guys but he still comes to mind often enough. This is really long - my apologies. Thank you! IP: Logged |

Why not leave it up to him? If he makes the next move and contacts you, you'll know he's interested. IP: Logged |

Taurus men do everything slowly. They really really really really really do. He has to finish this last relationship slowly. He has to keep you hanging on and slowly build something with you. Taurus is a feminine sign so you may have to take some steps towards him. Calling for basic reasons... to wish him a Happy Fourth of July (if you are in America) or to ask him if he knows how to (insert something he knows about or might know about) or if he is going to (insert local event that may be of interest to him).
If he says, "No, I am not going to The Event, are you?" Then say, "I would love to go if I had someone to go with me... would you go with me?" If he says yes then thank him and let your excitement show and tell him you will contact him again in a few days with the details of the event or he can call you. Then wait three days and call him if he hasn't called you. If he does, then let him hear you smiling over receiving his call and talk about basic subject such as weather and work and delicious meals, possibly mentioning the possibility of stopping at this fabulous food place before Event. Wear perfume and a silky shirt/dress. Hair soft and natural.

Thanks, that was very helpful!!! I will keep those things in mind...definitely gave me some ideas. I guess we've been passively reaching out to each other so it's up to one of us to actually do something. I still like/think about him, it'd be nice to know I wasn't alone in that... so one of these days I'll have to bite the bullet... IP: Logged |
