This is an article, written by a friend, about a couple of scam artists in the internet. I didn't know whether to post this in the main forum, interpersonal astrology, or here. I don't want to spam, so maybe it could be moved if it will get more views in a different forum. http://www.beliefnet.com/columnists/ohmystars/2019/08/escaping-twin-flame-cult.html
This is part two. It will direct you to read part one, at the top of the article. IP: Logged |

I never saw much relating to it in depth but have wondered re validity of any of it. Good to know. I'm middle of the line since I usually read various views, but there's so much out there that is a farce anymore, sad. Thsnks for sharing this blog Teasel.IP: Logged |

Thought this might be worth adding to the cauldron, How Romanticism Ruined Love (and though not stated, led to the Twin Flame thinking): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jltM5qYn25w "If we question the assumptions of the romantic view of love, it's not in order to destroy love, but to save it." There's also one on how romance stories have sabotaged actual love by creating unrealistic expectations (much as porn does), and giving the wrong assumptions that others have what's in the stories while one's self doesn't and/or ending normal relationships because they don't live up to the hype, or because of the problems one should expect but often doesn't (though it's not just romance stories and plots that do this to people). Though it's not just romantic love. I recall reading of a young teen in the news who even had sex with homeless men because she was deliberately trying to get pregnant...the reason she gave is so the baby would love her unconditionally. She had no idea that more the reverse is in demand (also, babies can fake cry as young as 2), but given her hunger for such love I wonder how she felt about her own mother, whether she had (or ever had) unconditional love. It's just sad, and I strongly suspect both a socially manipulative and marketing ploy (certainly scam artists make a big living focusing on "true love" and "soul mates" though others make money by helping married people, including women, cheat on their spouses).
