These recurring destruction themes indicate that a part of you is being destroyed or changed - but only to be reborn, especially considering the flood symbology. The entire dream reflects a certain degree of stress or anxiety involving some sort of change. There are indications that you feel exposed, perhaps vulnerable, violated or disrespected, or perhaps just separated from yourself in some way. Anger and/or frustration is the result. And you are concerned about the well-being of your son, so this is a situation that involves more than just yourself. You are making an attempt to cover or conceal yourself, possibly your emotions, as this situation doggedly pursues you. It could be suggested, by the nature of the space shuttle, that this is a situation that has to do with the near future. If I understand the symbology correctly (which I may not!), this situation raises concerns about finances and living arrangements. So, are finances and living arrangements in the present and near future causing you some degree of stress or anxiety? If not, then I will need to look at this differently.
