This is my first posting about a dream, but I have to ask if anyone can interpret this for me. It is still very vivid in my mind 3 weeks later.

I was going to a seminar with a friend from work, and then I was in hotel room with unknown people, we were changing to go out and disco dance -I am in my pj's.

Someone says that there is a movie theater 2 floors below us and it is on fire. My friend arrives at the door, I greet her and a small snaking trail of fire comes under our feet and circles into the room. We all watch it. Finally we decide we need to leave and jump over/avoid the snaking trail of fire.

As we leave, we see a part of the floor collapse in our room and see the theater below with a movie still playing.

We go to an empty ballroom-the characters except my friend are now changing-some I know. The fire is now in a room next to the one we are in. We see 2 firemen and they suggest we leave.

We go through a set of double doors and next thing I know we are in 1960's european style aqua blue bus/cab, the driver I think is French. It is gloomy and raining. We drive across the street and sit in the cab in front of a hospital. I am sitting with my face pressed against the window watching the rain.

We then watch the floors catch on fire one by one in the rain. There are firemen outside.

The alarm goes off....

Any takers?

So, what happened about three weeks ago that brought to the surface some difficult emotions?

This dream is all about strong emotions that your mind is struggling to deal with. I do not know if this has something to do with a past situation (although there are indications) that has somehow been brought back into your thoughts, or if it is something more recent. And I am not certain at what level of consciousness these energies are currently manifesting. But there are certainly some emotional/mental energies at work here.

In the larger scheme, there is a learning process going on (seminar), possibly initiated by work relations (friend from work) - but, possibly not! Whatever the cause, it seems you are in a temporary, or transitional state - either physically or emotionally or both - and there is a changing of energies from inactivity (pj's) to activity (dance).

Something from within your sub/unconscious has become active (movie theater downstairs), initiating some intense emotions (fire), and you are attempting to avoid it (avoid fire). These intense emotions have broken through the barrier or threshold between subconsciousness and consciousness (floor collapse, can see movie playing below), threatening to consume you (burning). It is suggested that there is some intense situation or memory that is "still playing" within your subconscious mind, 'burning' itself into your waking awareness.

It is suggested that you are indeed becoming more aware of the various influences/aspects of these subconscious emotions/energies (unknown people changing to known people) or that perhaps some recent event has triggered these intense emotions that you felt in the past.

Your mind is trying to extinguish these intense emotions (firemen) and to bring balance (two/'double' doors) to self. It is again suggested that these energies are old/past (1960's) sad/difficult (blue) emotions (aqua) that you are not in control of (you are not driving). The dream suggests that balance and healing (hospital) might be helped along if the tears which you hold within, unexpressed (rain), are released.

The sadness and gloom that you feel - if you REALLY connect with your emotions - could help release a rain of tears which would assist the firemen in your mind to extinguish these fires of emotion before they consume you.

Remember, with the rain comes purification, cleansing, and healing.

And thank you for the interpretation, it is amazing.

And yes I have been struggling with my emotions and it is becoming more intense.

I have always pretty much hid my emotions from everyone. I have always been a people pleaser and something inside me just doesn't want to do this anymore. I feel like "I" am trying to come out and become comfortable with my emotions and who I am.

I am feeling at odds placating or giving in to people, and I readily did this before.

The learning process is astrology. I just recently (March) started studying and actually within the last month ideas have started to click for me.
I am struggling with the reality of my personality and things I have just ignored about myself for a very long time.

And I rarely ever cry.

Again thank you, you are very gifted! I will try and use your insights to help me figure out how to heal me.

I have been researching healing crystals too, do you know anything about them?

As for crystals, I love them! I am no expert, but there are three which come to mind. Amethyst, for healing and spiritual energies. Citrine, for turning negative energy into positive. And you can never go wrong with a good, clear Quartz crystal.

I find that the more round the stone, the more smooth the energy, but I do love a good point as well!

I would pose this question in other forums too (which ones I am not sure). I am sure you can find someone more knowledgable than me in this area.

On another note, as luck would have it, there is a gem and jewelry show this weekend very close to where I live.

I have been before and they do sell stones and crystals. Perfect cosmic timing!
