Me again -- this time I'm wondering if you can help me with some dream analysis. Was talking about our group here with a friend, and she recalled a nightmare she had last nite...Any thoughts on this?

Here's her rememberence of the dream:

I was born and raised in a very small town in Mexico, so in my nightmare I was in this little town (which I visit twice a year) and suddenly this man comes in with a bomb in his hand and secured it around his body and then starts walking around the town telling everyone he was a suicide bomber and he was going to blow up the town if the people didn't get together and sign a document he had in his hand. He wanted everyone to vote for someone I don't recall what that was about, but I was chased by this man with the bomb telling me I was going to die! I told this cousin of mine to hide because the man was coming and my cousin didn't belive me. So I jumped the fence and went in to my aunts house who is his mother. My aunt is 94 years old and in the dream she was taking care of my grandma (who died 20 years ago!) but my aunt was telling me this is not really your grandma -she's is your grandma's mom (who I never met!). They didn't know what was going on out in the town, and I didn't tell them because I was afraid they would get too scared and die from fear. I went outside and saw a lot of people and a big group of school kids cheering- maybe to make the man stop? Then for some reason he did stop threatening the town and said OK..it's Ok.. I am not going to kill you.
and I thought he better not see me as I was in my aunts house, but then he had stopped threatening everyone, saying it was OK.

Then I woke up very scared still!

Thanks in advance Ra...

Hello Beadflorist!

I will address this as if speaking to your friend.

This dream seems to reflect a situation in which you felt forced to do something against your will. There is a perceived potential for destruction or damage in some way, but you do not wish to concern your family with it, or are afraid to do so. This situation seems to threaten you at a deep level. But, it seems that the threat has passed, and you are ok.

So, what happened very recently that had you feeling pressured and fearful?

Was the signing of an actual document involved, perhaps a legal matter?

Were you afraid of consenting to some type of activity?

Would this have affected your family in some way?

Did this situation, in fact, resolve itself? If not, the dream is telling you that it will, and you will be no worse for the wear.

Does any of this make sense?

Ra, my friend (and me) thank you. She says you are very accurate! (I told her she wouldn't be disappointed.)

After reading your thoughts to her, she thinks she knows what her subconscious was/is dwelling on.

Many thanks once again :-)

Anytime!

My thoughts on that dream were rather generalized, so I am glad she found something in them.
