Interesting dream. It does have a foretelling feeling to it, although the specifics are somewhat vague.

Rather than some global event, I would guess that the dream is about some sort of shift in your personal life, one which is destined to occur (star approaching). Your dream suggests "90 days" until the shift, and that perhaps you will need to rely upon your instincts (animals) in order to make necessary decisions. It could be suggested that the shift will happen quickly, at a time when you are feeling free and uninhibited (picking flowers in a field) and not thinking about change, but that you will have some warning (animals/instncts).

How do you feel about your father's house? Secure or insecure? Good feelings or bad? The dream suggests that you will either be reaching out for some measure of security, or that perhaps you will be thrown into a state of insecurity, depending upon your feelings about your father's house.

Regardless, it seems that in the end you will come through okay, perhaps a bit confused emotionally (humid but snowing), but okay.

I can't help but to consider the red color of the star. Red can signify intense emotions, life, etc., but in conjunction with the symbolism of the star, I am inclined to think that 'red' could suggest the alchemical stage of rubedo, a stage which suggests change within self and foretells the completion of some inner work in an enlightened manner.
