I started making charts for significant dreams about 2 years a go.
Each person has their own definition for significant. Three top criteria for me are intense, insightful, and bridge.
Or words to that effect. Unfortunately fears seem to loom quite large, and pictorially remind me of my 7 Swords in the Rohrig deck. (futility)

The card is mostly reds and black, with some yellow. In the background is the head of a huge reptilian beast, jaws open,
fangs dripping...you know the type A person stands in front of him just a black stylized stick. He has a white glow around his head like a lighbulb just went on. The beast represents fears; mostly imagined. A David and Goliath set up. I tend to view the card positively, in that we have the ability to shrink or neutralize out fears, to render them powerless over our decision making.

adding card: 2010

So, I started making charts for these dreams. Always noting the clock time.
They turned out to be pretty profound. Analyzing the dreams themselves as I load the info, then seeing the results on my screen. I keep tight reign on how often. Last year I used just 4 for the entire year.

Since I am a self admitted 'roid junkie, I use the dream symbolism and analysis to pick asteroids to use. I keep track of 20 or so on a constant basis, so if they apply I add them. It is really startling how well this works. The first time I used an Ephemeris and added degree resonances, but now feel that it is un necessary.

So Sat morning I was up at 5:30...wayyy to early, went back to bed. Had one of those dreams and dragged myself out of it at 8:25. Usually I am in a fairly lucid state when observing the action...like a watcher, not a participant. This one I had to dig out of.

I have my Mars return tomorrow eve. 24 Gem. I am also having a Juno return. 4 Aries. She just retro'd, so will be on 4 Aries for awhile.
There was great resonance in the dream chart, for good, or critical mass however you wish to view it. Virgo was rising with Merc on the ASC..wont bore with the rest.

Anyway give it a try...maybe you already have and would share?

Hello Node

I find this fascinating! I do not know much about astrology, but have always wondered how astrological forces may interact with our dreaming selves.

Sounds like you are onto something. Very interesting. I hope you continue to delve into this area.

Thank you so much for sharing your insight!

I came to a few conclusions so I thought I would back.

It doesn't take a huge stretch of the imagination to conclude that Lunation's play a major role, and in this case it really is that simple.
The discovery of how specifically accurate they are was surprising.

The detail is in the houses. Some astrologer's tell us that you can wipe the chart clean of all bodies and points and study what is left with accuracy. What remains? The angles, the house's.

Nearly all of these dream charts were decoded by simply using what house the dream chart moon is in. With frequency it was in the 8th, next 4h and 12h... and aspected to Sun. The Moon of the dream charts was also most frequently in a water sign. The Water Houses are called
Labyrinths of the Unconscious. So we have water house, and water sign's. Natal Moon is in a water sign. I believe this is the tuning fork.

To simplistically refresh on the 4, 8, and 12h
4-Family, security needs-Cancer, Moon
8-death and legacy- personal unconscious-Scorpio, Pluto
12-Collective unconscious-Neptune, Pisces
The veracity of the Lunar opposition is no longer discounted. Lunar opp's which also coincide with transits and progressions are high roller's.

So, to sum. Dreams are tools to me. Unresolved issues and the people that accompany those issues. The dreams themselves tells us all we really need to know, but they often do this in such a nebulous manner that we are left with more questions than answers. Adding astrology to that tool box hands us a laser pointer.

The recent eclipse at 19 Cancer reminded me of this thread as the last two weeks have seen 4 of these dreams so far. The eclipse chart for my area also placed it in the 8th House . That is a personal best. Natal Moon is 18 Pisces.
