I`ve had the most awesome dream two nights ago.
I was somewhere, floating, and it was like I was energy, pure consciousness, but without a body.
And there was darkness all around, but slowly I was seeing some dots of light, just dimly, and not that many.
They were not unmoveable, but moved very slowly. Two moved towards each other, and the closer they came, the quicker they became. It was like they were drawn to each other by law of attraction.
They didnīt really collide though, but rather merged with each other, and that moment they became one very bright ball of light, gleaming white golden.
It was so bright, that nothing existed but that white golden light. If I had had physical eyes (which I had not), I definitely would have been blinded afterwards.
But then after a few moments at the spot of the merging dots of light, there was suddenly a shower / rain of stars / other dots of light.
It was so beautiful!

Wow, that is beautiful. Astral travel much?

Yes, it could have been an astral travel.

I do that sometimes during the night; I am always having the same feeling upon waking up after such "dreams". slightly disoriented (like: What am I doing here? Where am I?), a bit lightheaded, but always a very relaxed feeling.

this time it was stronger than usual though.
