Topic: Now it's scary aliens

My little sister has dreamt up some very cool stuff before. She dreamt of her friends room and described it down to the last detail when on the phone. All of it turned out to be right. She was also the first to notice some of the other entities living in our house. A while ago, she had a nightmare about aliens. They came in a spacecraft and kidnapped her while I stood in the bathroom doing my hair (poor child  ) and when she finally got back, no one noticed she'd been gone. It was terrifying for her little 10 year old mind. She just cannot stand aliens anymore. This dream came before I'd heard of reptilians and whatnot, so I ignored it thinking it was because she might have been feeling left out. She remembered it today again. Anyone find anything I should be worried about in here? IP: Logged |

Sorry, I've been incredibly busy lately trying to keep my job!Anyway Cancer/Scorpio, I have kind of two schools of thoughts on these kind of dreams.
Most times I don't find them to be symbolic of other things.. (MOST times, not every) anyway, when people dream these incredibly vivid things about aliens, or angels, or other creatures, *I* believe that it's either something they've been exposed to through tv, books, media, etc... OR That's is a kind of remembered or recovered experience that has really happened, or will happen, or is happening, depending on how you chose to view time. If I were you, I would let her tell you the 'dreams' and soothe her, but try and be kind of neutral on saying something is 'real' or 'fake'. You know? Because if part of her remembers something that may have happened and you say it didn't, it creates confusion. But, I would keep her away from the 'SCARY alien' shows if possible, and maybe show her some things with a more positive spin to them. I've often read that a pretty good sized portion of kids who dream this kind of thing grow out of it, or block it somehow until later in life. I'm sure she'll be just fine. Best Wishes. IP: Logged |

Thanks Gypsee, I was really worried. I think it may be the media, she tends to be heavily influenced by tv. I convinced my parents to stop her tv completely and it's done absolute wonders on her personality; she had started acting like a Kardashian.
But there is a chance she knows something, she's fairly new to being human and these souls have more access to psychic abilities. I think. IP: Logged |

wow cancer/scorpio, she is that impressionable?? LOL, thats funny, she started acting like a kardashian, now THAT is scary, LOL.
anyways, i'm glad i'm not that impressionable, about the most that happens to me is i start talking like a character in the show i'v been watching a lot lately...and lately thats been star trek, lol------------------

Yeah I think she was getting the attitude from Hannah Montana and various other Disney channel shows that highly encourage sassy talking and back-biting, even if in the most subtle way. IP: Logged |

She is being awakened to realize how to utilize the dream state. This doesn't mean she's being instructed by space aliens. It's self directed symbolism. Always look for the symbolism in any dream. What is an alien?(Something or someone you've never seen before) What does a spacecraft do?(takes you places far away that can't be reached any other way)Hope this helps IP: Logged |
