Something weird has been happening to me, or happened twice. Both times I was on my computer, relaxed and focused on the screen.

Suddenly I get the sensation as though my astral body is about to leave my physical body, at once I'm staring at my computer at eye level & simultaneously looking at it from above. It's like a rush of energy concentrated in my head ready to bust out, but, alas, I'm awake.

Weird.

Does anyone know what this is, or have similar experiences??

Do you feel a pulling sensation, a physical pulling sensation, as though your body and your spirit are separating? Not an unpleasant sensation, but a very fleeting sensation, in that, if you moved wrong or changed position, it would slip away???

Not quite.

The sensation is of a balloon trapped inside my head wanting to float upwards. True, it's not unpleasant.

I get the odd feeling as though the room is getting smaller & I'm towering above everything. Similar to being on an Airplane taking off.

Yes!
However please rule out any possible health issues such as syncope.

If you are sure it is not an effect of anything physical, then I recommend books by Robert A. Monroe..(his initials are R.A.M.
Begin with the first one.

Robert Monroe was the author of three books:
