One night before I went to sleep I tried my hardest to "send" a dream to someone I had a crush on at the time.i closed my eyes and pictured him sleeping and having a dream about me.next morning he told me " I had a dream about you, and it's funny because I never remember my dreams" . Yeah I was shocked. I tried it a few times after and no luck lol. Wouldn't it be wonderful and horrible if people could actually do it all the time ? LolIP: Logged |

I had something similar happen when I was dreaming about a man I was close with and the next day he told me he dreamed about me too. Other than that I have also shared dreams with people I've slept next to, again someone I was very close with. But I wonder the same thing because of late I've been thinking and dreaming about a man I used to be with too.IP: Logged |

Interestingly the guy who says he thinks about me every night before he goes to sleep, I never dreamed about him,, NEVER. I will instead see old ex's and unknown faces in dreams.------------------ Pity from an Aries is worse than their contempt \m/ www.lenormanddraws.blogspot.com IP: Logged |

Can we say that the person you dream of was thinking of you in general. Must it be before you fall asleep? That seems kind of nit-picky if you ask an old gurfrog.IP: Logged |

I say, it's certainly possible, but there are all kinds of reasons someone could appear in your dreams. If you jump to the conclusion "oh, it must be because that person was thinking of me," then you miss the opportunity to use your dream for self-growth. As a rule of thumb, I always start with the assumption that a dream is symbolic, and interpret it as a tool for self-growth. Then if you find out later that you were actually visited by someone, you have the double benefit of having grown from your dream, and knowing you were visited. Does that make sense? So, if you remember some details from the dream, you'll want to start by asking: What kind of personality does this girl have? What kinds of feelings did I have last time I saw her? Your answers to those questions will probably resonate with an issue you were dealing with around the time of the dream. For example, once I dreamed I was making out with a former co-worker. I used to have a mild crush on him, even though he was a pig, so I could have dismissed the dream as simply an expression of sexual desire. But I went deeper. How I described this co-worker was "money hungry, and not caring about the feelings of others." What do you know. Around the time of the dream, I was worrying and fretting about money, and considering finding a second job, even though it would mean taking more time away from my young baby. When I saw the connection, I became disgusted with myself, just as disgusted as I would have been if I had actually made out with this selfish guy. I realized that it would be more in line with who I truly am to concentrate on raising my baby at this time of life, than to run after more money. It was a hard decision, but the dream gave me peace, once I knew what it meant. ------------------ I can help you figure out your dreams, and guide you in how to use them to transform your life. www.sleepingrealities.com Follow me on Facebook! facebook.com/sleepingrealities Follow my blog! http://sleepingrealities.blogspot.com IP: Logged |
