So, i dreamed that i was awake but in my bed and there was a yellow butterfly in my room. I woke up and fell asleep again, i was still laying in my bed but there was no buttefly, there was a guy(i didn't know him) and he was standing up, he talked to me a bit and told me something like "I don't need you anymore" and i felt like i was going to die, i called my mom 3 times, i died then i woke up. It was terrible, like leaving my body, i think i felt that.
I had a break up last month and i'm feeling unhappy, i keep stalking and i secretly hate him but i'm trying to be friendly. I guess this is why i'm having so many weird and bad dreams lately and yesterday i had a tremendous feeling of rage towards my ex but didn't do anything, of course. The other dream i had 2 days ago was that i was running(with more people that i didn't know) from lions.
I don't know if people quote in this forum but i'll ask anyway, don't quote please.

Perhaps the stranger telling you "I don't need you anymore" signifies your ex, and you literaly die from what he is saying, as if he extinguishes the life force out of you, as if he doesn't need you, you have no reason to live anymore. Of course this is an exaggeration, but this is the feeling the dream symbolises. I don't know about the yellow butterfly. What hue of yellow was it? Was it greenish yellow? A beautiful, bright yellow?

Running from lions with a bunch of other people may signify the feeling of a mutual danger, a group-like threat for your lives. But I am finding it hard to interpret in the light of the facts you have given... Perhaps it's another signification for the separation being life-threatening, in a way, for you. I don't know why you dream you are with others in the same danger... Can you think of a reason?

Probably, but i didn't feel affection or familiarity with this guy, i just felt he was powerful (which my ex isn't). Btw it's the first time someone breaks my heart. The butterfly looked like this

In the other dream there was a house, i entered the house and saw 2 kids (a girl and a boy) and a guy at my age, i told them about the lions outside and we were about to get out of the house from the backdoor when the lions came in. We ran and they followed us, i don't know what happened to the kids but the guy beside me got caught and i think he died, i just kept running and this was it.
I always think i'm in danger because i see a lot of violence in the news.

Butterfly is a symbol of change and personal transformation. When it shows up in your life, it is a time to look at what needs to be changed.... perhaps your perspective on a subject, aspects of your personality, or personal habits...

This guy who says 'I don't need you anymore' may be your higher self , demanding that you change yourself or your bad habits , maybe stalking your ex is not serving you well in spiritual way, this death in the dream is reminiscent of a larvae that symbolically dies and a butterfly is born.

A butterfly is also a symbol of lightness, happiness, free to fly in the rays of sunshine. Note that you never see butterflies when the weather is gloomy, overcast and before rain.

I like that very much for the symbol of the butterfly.

A little bit more input would be that the group in your dream can symbolize: You are not alone with your situation.

I talked with a friend of mine about dreams and he said that dying in a dream is a very favourable sign... it means change. And perhaps Novabronte is right regarding the butterfly signifying also that change, as going through developmental stages.

I also believe GeminiKarat is right saying that the dream when you run away with some others signify that you are not alone in your situation.

This death dream was the worst i've ever had, and i had a lot of them. The interpretations make a lot of sense to me. I like the idea of my higher self trying to contact me. I'll be the happiest when this weird phase is over, and dreaming about the butterfly makes me more optimistic.
