Hello, recently I met someone who I believe is a soulmate but due to other circumstances we aren't able to be together. Which is fine, I'm at peace with it.

However, lately, out of the blue I'm having extremely vivid dreams of them like I've never had before. Ones where I can taste, touch, smell, and feel them. I understand that these are lucid dreams, but they feel different, they feel way too real. And when I kiss them, I swear I can feel it.

Now I've been chalking these up to lucid dreams, but whenever I have other lucid dreams and try to pursue and call them, even when they show up and if we kiss, it never feels as real as the dreams that found me. I can feel it but I can't *really* feel it, not like the others.

Whenever I wake after the more real dreams, I always feel a pressure or heaviness in my chest area. It's quite strange. The dreams where it felt real have happened three times whereas the other lucid ones have happened numerous times.

Does anyone have ideas of what this might be? Extremely lucid dreaming or something more? My gut says something more but I have a hard time believing it for whatever reason. I've read about astral projection, particularly with soulmates or whatever, and was wondering if anyone had personal experiences or advice.

And I'm really sensitive, always have been, to other people. I'm just not sure what to make of it.

I am sorry, my knowledge base for the different ways of dreaming is to little.

In my experience two people can dream about the exact same topic and the experience will remain individual.

In this case...

I wish you a lot of people to share their experience!

Hello aqua0120

It is not necessarily the dreams that have become more vivid, but your connection to them which has become heightened. The question then, is why? Why a deepened connection, or more conscious awareness, of these dreams (i.e. your inner self) now, at this time? I cannot answer that question.

This is more about increased awareness than it is about dream symbology, so it is about the experience, the inner/spiritual learning process, and what to do with it.

The heaviness in the chest area could be a physical expression/symptom of the increased awareness of, and connection to, these particularly vivid lucid experiences, perhaps in some way associated with a chakra or your astral cord.

In my experience, these phenomena likely reflect the effects of an inner shift or re-alignment, and will diminish in time.

But why now? And to what degree is your "friend" involved in your inner growth? (kind of rhetorical questions) What's going on with you?

These are all really good questions to ponder. Personally, my life changed pretty drastically when I met this person, and as a result, my idea of what my future is has changed as well. I guess I never made the connection between the importance of this person and this shift, because in truth, they have a lot to do with it. And will continue to be important.

There's a lot of backstory to our relationship that I won't subject you to lmao but essentially... This makes sense. I guess my dreams have always been somewhat of a catalyst for what's going on in my life? Maybe?

Sometimes when I try to reach out to my person, I get these dreams, but I don't know if it actually works. Or if it is this inner shift.
