i just dreamt about my health and appearence taken away from me and given to other person to better their life. i woke up in the dream and i knew there was a body of my uncle who passed away in my flat but i didnt know where. i went to the living room and telling people i wasnt well, everyone just stared at me as i was feeling strange, then i looked in the mirror and i was in the middle of changing into a frail lady, no teeth and i was ill. it wasnt even in my control,it happened to me against my will. there was people around me, think family. it was terrifying, i woke up kicking my legs.

why do i dream like this? right back to bed as i still have a few hours till i wake up.

p.s i have been telling myself I am losing weight and i am healthy to give myself encouragement to lose weight. just wondering if thats the reason why i'm dreamt that?
thank you xxx

It's probably not as bad of a dream as it sounds.

Gbear ... so you think your dream is a reaction to being on food restrictions (diet) -- a diet, a die-ette? You're mini-deathing your self?

Have you gone a bit too far??? LOL
Losing too much?

No snacks before going to sleep?

Make sure your inner-child feels like you're not putting her to bed hungry--- as a punishment?! LOL

Give her some TeddyGrahams! or Goldfish crackers? Maybe a pretty little plastic heart bracelet with a couple shiny jewelly-things on it as a nice reward? (or something like that! *grin*)

Nah... just being light.

That's a terrible dream to be having.. *hug*!! So sorry about that. It's disconcerting, and not conducive to wanting to get back in bed for the next one.

And in the narrative, it's like you were asking for help, and being ignored or belittled for your saying something you HAD the right to SAY to them! No teeth? No bite, and feeling (sense of shame?) for not having control over it.

Sometimes things happen around us (like weather events, shootings, catastrophic building fires), that happen TO us, or TO other individuals. We are its Witnesses. When we're sensitive, we 'pick up' on things in the general atmosphere... even subconsciously reacting as though this were happening to ourselves.

There's a part of us that likes to 'think' it is in control.

Even, we can be afraid to "appear as if" we DON'T have our lives all together---, when we (might make the mistake) to think that society is 'looking down' on us for failing to meet 'expectations'... Sometimes family can set high bars too-- if there had been some especially successful individuals who had shone brightly. Why can't you be like that??? could be a (false or real) felt-expectation?

(Secret... Not everyone who looks like they have their life together, HAS it together. Some people are good at masking and putting on a good front. You don't need to 'compare' your success with another person's success. Comparing yourself is a killer of who YOU are, and what YOU are meant to Be!)

You are not your uncle, nor whatever sick-expectations of the type that "family" can (without realizing) readily pin to us, either. Some families have designated 'scapegoats'-- can be subtle. *sad*

You have the right to be your own person, not as-identified to the family, and apart from them (especially in toxic situations). It's GREAT when you can 'listen' to things they've said.... take the wheat, brush away the chaff-- the best you can. (I know how 'hurtful' some can remain... sorry if that's happening to you, or anyone who reads.)

You're around 40 now? ... Things have probably begun changing with you again. If you are, you are entering a whole new corridor of life, called your mid-life transits.

If you like to read astrology books, there are authors who have described the effects of those passages, the kinds of things some folks encounter, and how to position yourself best to navigate those years.

Lots of authors-- I'm not 'up' on who the latest ones are. I'm familiar with the works of Barbara Hand Clow. (She renamed a book she used to have titled 'Liquid Light of Sex'-- it's about midlife transits, and kundalini (if you're interested in that).) Lots on Chiron, Uranus, and Saturn.

*Congratulations* on weight loss goals you've achieved. That took discipline.

Now, go out and treat your inner-child for the cooperation she gives you!

*hugHug* to Gbear(s)!! yay!!

Hello Gbear. It seems like your health is occupying your thoughts. May I ask what was the cause of death of your uncle?
Maybe telling to yourself you are losing weight makes your subconsciousness concentrate on the word "losing" in its negative meaning, thus losing your health, looks and teeth as well.

ketones in urine...

from dietary conditions such as starvation, fasting, high protein, or low carbohydrate diets
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ketonuria

when your body is burning 'fat' for energy instead of glucose

quote:
"Small or trace amounts of ketones may mean that ketone buildup is starting.
You should test again in a few hours.

Moderate or large amounts are a danger sign.

They upset the chemical balance of your blood and can poison the body.

Never exercise when your urine checks show moderate or large amounts of ketones and your blood glucose is high.

These are signs that your diabetes is out of control.

Talk to your doctor at once if your urine results show moderate or large amounts of ketones."
