There are hundreds more on my facebook. Been LOVING making these.

“It’s an interesting thing. Seeing Kuan Yin relating to a flower so intently. She's not just looking at it; she's interacting with it…I’m seeing how the act of relating to a flower appears to be so simple. Yet, it takes a tremendous amount of courage to make such a “simple” act important. Now, the lotus is floating away.”

I was wondering the same, though part of me doesn't want to know, because I like math, and I'd like to just try my own.

You have so many it's tough to point out the ones I like, BUT I feel particularly drawn to the high contrast ones.

Hi AG, and NosiS, good to see you! There's a program plugin in for photoshop- I also have another program that is for my mac which I prefer to create the image, it's called kaleidoscope, then I touch them up in photoshop- these ones haven't been touched up yet- as you can see they are not a perfect circle yet, there's really no math on my part- unlike fractals. I find an image- my flower photography, some graphic art, drawings, space pictures, ect, then the folding and mirroring begins.

Glad you like them- I will be printing them into a set of cards.

Great idea!

I would love to see them on cards but will you be able to get the whole circle in there? The mandalas are cut off on the right and left and it's much more powerful to see the whole for meditation.

Even if you don't, however, it would still make a great card.

They do look kaleidescopic. I started trying to work out how I'd create them last night, and I didn't get very far. I could see that they wouldn't have that kaleidescope effect. I don't have a Mac or PhotoShop.

Yesterday, I did take a few moments to read about mandalas on wikipedia. Pretty interesting how they permeated so many cultures.

I could see the suggestion within the mandala that a photo was used in a few of them. That's pretty neat. That would be fun.

NosiS, yes, I will be printing round cards too after I have corrected them, that was my husbands idea.

AG, it seems to have caught on in facebook now, people are creating hundreds of mandalas, it's lovely to see so much creativity.

Wow, those are so pretty! I also like the high contrast ones, it brings out all the patterns in the design.

I love them, I wished they were numbered so I could tell you my favorites!

It would be awesome to turn these into transfers, or screen prints for t-shirts, bags, etc..

I love how they speak to the individual.
Nice work.!

Sure Mel!

I noticed how you supported certain individuals in the past Thank God for you.

You are very talented with words, prose and poetry. I love your writing style. And you know good stuff when you see it- so if you say "look at this"- I'm looking at it!
