Glared a river, flowing as eternal,
Prospering in serenity, blooming in vernal,
Immigrating from, banks and alleys,
Soothing my soul, falling from valleys,
The voice of water, tranquils my soul,
I shut my vision, it drifts on knoll,
Petite my anguish, turns in glory,
I lend it ears, and hark its story,
River recited, you bathed in it,
And smelled so divine, numbing its wit,
A part of you, stirred its skin,
Yes it was ecstatic, your warming whim,
Your image was casted, on river’s shawl,
And beclouded, your reflection scrawled,
The destiny bewitched, river in you,
And you swept in me, precious and blue,
Your bliss derived, an unspoken frame,
I danced in rivers, abolishing the tame,
And hunted for traces, of floating you,
Wondering of you, in shapes untrue.

Your poem flows like the river it describes.

Your poem truly flows. The flow is beautiful, and typical of your work. The last line makes me think : this poem is about a fundamental truth regarding the essence in contrast of reflection. This is what I gather, and I guess there is more to it, but this is my first impression.

Traveling through the banks and rivers of Imagination for temporarily dreaming and indulging the memories of past encounters with love?

(humor) ..
Okay. I 'almost' didn't spiritualize it, until the way you used the word Blue!!!

(music) My Krishna is Blue (yogananda; an instrumental-only interpretation on guitar by Panduranga) [4:20] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UuPp1-2Djpk

The climate of your poem engages Neptunian fantasy. Wonderful.

Romance can be met in the real and erotic world, or, in a higher sense of Wonder. Illusion? Could Love's illusion on earth in man/human form be a beckoning entreaty of the Divine illusion manifested within that material form?

Even the material Beauty in nature around us-- our Higher Power always consumed and represented inside the edges and boundaries of cells and invisible form, equally pregnant and held indwelling the Heart of the beholder.

Do we fall in love with the illusion of the other, or, The Other that lives within the illusion.

Thanks Randall

Ayelet, that was a wonderful interpretation. Essence or reflection, I dont know but yes, that could be an angle too Thanks for interpreting it. Thanks

mirage, wow, I love how these questions were evoked in you. Personally, I am into spiritualising my relationships of whatever sort, one reason could be I am an empath who loves deeply and way TOO much. So yes, love is equivalent to a religion for me.

I would have loved to listen to the instrumental video you mentioned but guess they removed the video. But still, thanks for your wonderful insight.
