Hi,So, I found one good yes/no spread in an old tarot book finally!!!! and you can use between 5 - 9 cards, either way the middle card counts 2. Anyway, I used to see this great tarot reader for years and she did this yes/no spread, and I could never figure out how it went. She would shuffle the cards and then begin laying out a first pile one card at a time, and the number of cards layed out before moving on to the next card never counted the same, but she would end up laying out 3 piles of cards and only read the top cards. Does anyone know this spread that she was doing?? IP: Logged |

What sort of things did she say how much did she charge what did she learn.Interpreted correctly tarot cards are never wrong no matter what the divinatory purpose -As long as the method is known- I would just lay them out anyway but decide on what way you would do it first. What you believe in works. I would Have three piles All of he piles will have five cards the left pile would be no's the middle is maybes' the right pile is yes' I think this makes sense. 15 cards total 15 = magic mystery 5 cards = communication yeah you could just read the top kard if u want I suppose the further down you go the less relevant it is. I know someone who does tarot readings with just normal playng cards. Believe in yoself IP: Logged |

I've got an Oracle deck called Good Witch, Bad Witch. There are 26 positive cards and 26 negative cards. It's Yes/No spread is just to shuffle, cut, and lay out the first three cards.Three positive cards = Yes Two positive cards, one negative = Yes Two negative cards, one positive = No Three negative cards = No You could always just flip a coin - heads = yes, tails = no. purple_scorp IP: Logged |

That's true, I could just flip a coin which does work most of the time. But then you would not give the details of the answer to your question. The woman who I saw charged 35.00, and I saw her for about 7 years...She's been sick and I haven't been able to get ahold of her for ahwile. But she was always pretty accurate and she would spend hours with me just talking until she had answered all of my questions, and done all of my yes/no questions. She also had another talent which I absolutely loved, she could hold a picture in her left hand of a person and find out about them, such as questions you had regarding that person...all very amazing and very accurate. Anyway thanks for the advice...I guess it just takes practice working with the cards and being able to listen to yourself as well. IP: Logged |

What were your questions about?Another way of divining yes/no answers is: Take your forefinger and touch it to your thumb- on your right hand. Ont your left hand take your thumb and little finger. Join the two circles you have now made and LOOP ONE CIRCLR THROUGH THE OTHER. Kind of making an 'eight' The theory is that if the loop BREAKS the answer in no. But if you CANNOT break the loop formed on your left hand with the loop on your right hand then the answer is yes.

Welcome! ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. I like to use a regular deck of cards and shuffle them while I concentrate on my question. Then I cut the deck once and take the top two cards (on the bottom half of the cut deck) and lay them side by side. The first position is yes, the second is no, and the highest card wins. ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. This has not failed me yet, so I gain even more and more faith in it each time I use it. ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." I heardthat modern tarot is based upon playing cards; I assume that diamonds is earth, spades is fire, clubs is air, hearts is water.? IP: Logged |
