Im just wondering if anyone has used a drawing of different stones used in healing to answer queries according to the feelings that they get from the stones, its colour, shape and correspondances?

Sometimes i find that using an astrological casting wheel for the stones can give an immensly detailed reading.

As a crystal nut for nigh on 4 years now i found this method to be much much easier and accurate for me than the Tarot, and is my preferred dvinaton technique. I also have a silver sheen obsidian ball which is lush but more directly taps into my higher self to bring forth answers to queries.

Anyone else had any experience of this techique? or is anyone else interested and finding information hard to come by?

Greetings...

Yup!

It is truly it's own Art, but based on the Law of Correspondence, Astrology, Numerology, Crystals.. what have you, will all provide answers to questions that are posed serious, by Seekers acting with knowledge and reverence.

If you are comfortable with the crystals and they work for you, if you can give a detailed reading, you need never learn to cast a chart nor turn a Tarot Card, unless that be your Desire.

The bottom line is that a good enough reader can read ANYTHING! And that is the beauty.. to realize that all of the tools are simply that. The Power does NOT reside in the tool, but in the Spirit of the Practitioner. Again.. the key is Knowledge and Reverence.

Blessings in the Light...

Have you ever done dowsing?

this is pretty much my experience
with crystals
although, I have every kind of crystal right here with me( I make dreamcatchers)

I do cleanse them, moonlight all that..
But will have to do more reading on the subject
they are fascinating and you can feel their
energy

this is a great topic, thanks

erm i have too much mental control over dowsers for divination... so i dont bother using them... it was a useful method for divination early on but for yes no style queries I would rather use a magic 8 ball ( I kid thee not..)... i get more accurate ( if a little sarcastic) answers outta it... i trust its randomness more... one of my primary deities is Eris, this is one of the ways in which it shows... Ahhh the Chaote in me is very strong..

dowsers are still great for chakra diagnostics tho.

Lotus I found that researching this form of divination is tricky.. but i found a good crystal healing knowledge and a nice bag to draw from is all you really need to get started. Remember when a person selects a stone at random from a bag they will invaribly be expressing a need or state of being represented by the stone's correspondances.

very often the stones talk of what is needed to push toward wholeness in a reading due to their primary function as healers tools. I use all my healing stones as reading stones and vice versa... it helps me become familiar with the individual stone and its particular unique frequency. This means i use this method as a way of assertaining the correct stones for healing, and to get to the bottom of the cause of the dis-ease.

um... lotus, when i started i used a lot of rose quartz and amethyst, but there isnt really a clear cut winner at the mo.

I use aquamarine and labradorite lots, rainbow sheen obsidian is wonderful, as are the tourmalines, Im getting into Kyanite and sapphire too. Flourite is another "old Faithful" along with Lapis. Actually lapis lazuli and labradorite is a great combo.

I make my own crystal jewellery and actually rose quartz, Amethyst, Labradorite, aquamarine and emerald are my most oft used for my creations. Usually in combo with other stones, but yea i think thats my top 5 to make into jewellery.

im jealous i want that book!

need to buy the illustrated guides too which is a bit of a swizzle, not the best for beginners but wonderful once you can identify most things by eye... i also need silver and silverwork tools for my college course... i think the books will have to wait.
