Are there any tarot decks you would recommend?

I am looking for a new one, but those I saw on Aclectic did not speak to me.

Are you still looking? Personal Readings is a good place to ask.

I have the Tarot of the Renaissance. It's beautiful and I think I feel it but...there are a few cards in this deck which are supposed to have a meaning different to the one they have in RW so their pictures are not too helpful. Anyway, good luck!

If you're interested I could share with you my wishlist and maybe something would catch your eye.

I'm at Barnes and Noble right now. See lots of neat decks: Zombie Tarot, Druid Animal, Steampunk, Animal Wisdom, Vampyres, and Law of Attraction!

I bought the Tarot of the Vampyres deck, and I've been very pleased with it. I end up using it as much or more than my Rider-Waite deck. Beautiful deck, if you like that type of thing.

Oh I gladly would have a look!

My problem is that there are some decks I find quite beautiful, but then ther eis always some cards that feel "off" to me.

As of now, I have the lover`s tarot; I find the majors beautiful, but cannot do anything with the minor arcanes, because there is no real imagery coming with them.

I also have the "Sacred circle" tarot (or something like that). Have been working quite for some time with it.

Latly i also tried the "Quest tarot", and it works fine for most part, but it is somehow too "detached" and futuristic for me. For some reason I feel I want more of an earthy tarot. I donīt even know if that makes sense. lol

I find the legacy beautiful as far as I have seen it, but maybe it is too much. I donīt know.

Interestingly I bought the Dark fairytale tarot a while ago; I never thought I would really work with it, but it turned out to be one of my absolutey favourites. But recently it feels a little too dark for my lighter moods.

Can you believe it, I donīt even posess a RWS-deck.

I have the Crowley one, but am not working with it. And actually I also have an Egyptian one and the Decameron-tarot. But the last one, well, not really my cup of tea, and doesn`t feel like tarot to me.

Beautiful decks, yes, like the darkish ones, but somehow the resonance inside is more of a superficial aesthetical one - for me.

The Druid Craft Tarot
The Tarot of Vampyres

The Tarot of Atlantis
The Shaman Tarot

I would never buy a deck without illustrated minor arcana even if I was advanced.

I didn`t know it was without illustrated minor arcana.
I find non-illustrated decks rather useless for me.

I will check out your recommendations. Thanks.

Funnily today I seem to connect quite well with my Quest-tarot again.
It is strange sometimes there are Quest-days, and on other days, it will not speak.

Oh, I need to use my Victorian Romantic. I was so excited to get that deck for my birthday, six years ago.

Tarot of the master seems very cool, I'd love to own it someday, will probably be my next addition
Tavaglione s 3 decks look interesting
Hermetic tarot is a dream, so many astro symbols

Oh and I'm really impressed with deviant moon, I don't know how I lived without it anymore

Just don't buy anything created by Ciro Marchetti and you're safe

I settled on the Tarot de Paris (and the Witches tarot).

Of course I will only know if they really resonate when I touch the cards
