I used to use pendulums all the time.
In fact, I used to make and sell them.
They were great for predicting the sex of a child, but I found them to be unreliable on other things. For the best, truest result, have someone else read for you, and you them b/c your brain sends the impulse of what you want the answer to be down to the nerves in your hand, and affects the outcome. Even if you are really still. I got to where I could make it move clockwise, counterclockwise, and spinning/twirling wildly simply by thinking it.
It's fun to play with though, at least it was for me.

Hey Gypsee its nice to see you around. Where art thou? Been missing you. Interesting to read about your experiences and the insight on how it works. I wondered about it. Now its nice to know. You made them too? WoW!

@luis in college days i learnt about it from someone and did it several times. Once when we were in the college cafeteria i was doing it for my friend and my classmates got into the mood too and i did it for everyone who asked. It was about baby prospects ofcourse. And everybody got something or the other and also the nos. Then this classmate who had some illness came along and i did it for her. And it just did not move. Not a centimeter. I did it a couple of times. She said like i understand it must be because of this. She didn't mention what. Later my friends told me that 'this' meant her illhealth. I didn't know about it till then and felt so bad and sad that i left it then and there. Never touched it after that.

I'm very conscious now when I use the pedulum - making sure my brain doesn't send any impulses down my arm to affect the movement of the pendulum...

Saw a book in a shop today on how to use a pendulum.

A real book, not one of those e-books and it wasn't a little book either!

Will buy it later.

Nah, it said it was included. But I didn't know it was such a nice one. It was in The Amazing Kreskin DVD.

He was the top mentalist of his day. He used a pendulum for some neat tricks.

I feel thats OK just for curiousity sake but if used for aborting a child based on that then its sad.
