What would they mean as outcome to the question should I marry someone?

Thanks.

Yeah tuff times, a strong connection but outside stressors causing someone to leave for greener pastures.

Yes, me and him are having a tough time. It's constant fighting and misunderstandings, but in the beginning I thought he was my soul mate and the man I was going to marry.

Hi

Okay, that makes sense with the 10 of wands here. So I wouldn't advise you to pop the question. Not until you moved the relationship into calmer waters. Is this what you think a solution can be between you/troubles you are having?

I think the cards are asking you to critically review the relationship first.
My "problem" here is with the 10 wands of course, but also the 8 of cups. It normally shows up leaving behind in what you invested here.
I can still see the love you feel for each other though. And I don't think it advises you to walk away now.

Basically: "It is too difficult/heavy (10 wands) to combine your energies and bond in marriage (2 cups) at this point, first work on getting the relationship on a higher level/same page (8 cups)"

That's my impression. The only thing is that with the 8 cups, while it's normally read as "leaving behind"/going on alone, that there is also a search for a higher bonding and thus this marriage.

Bottom line: don't do it now. Review your relationship, see if you can both start working on improving it. You will find out soon enough if this will really suit you or that you are signing on for more and repeating drama & thus perhaps part ways.

Good luck!

Hi Twirl

Thanks for the detailed explanation. You're pretty correct on your analysis.

I don't want to marry him because I know nothing will get better but he's being persistent and won't go away.
I am so tired and drained by his energy and I just want to get away. I'm actually moving to another state to partly get away from him, but he threatens to move with me.
I told him to give me a break so we can get a new perspective on things and heal a little but he refuses to do that; he's stubborn and non-cooperative.
I have no hopes for this relationship to reach a higher bond. I feel like if he continues to be in my life, only drama will exist.
