Hey guys, what groupings of tarot cards do you think would represent a sociopath? And how exactly would you phrase the question if you want to know if someone is? I know of one person who is, so I suppose in theory I could ask the cards if said person is a sociopath...is that a good approach?

Hey, I'm not sure...
Are we talking full blown psychopaths here? So are they incredibly charming?
Moon upright or reversed could be an indicator. If charming, yet unreliable knight of wands RX Oor upright. Temperance RX.
9 of wands can also show up for people who really take it a step too far. Possibly because to them everything is a threat & an attack. & they would just do everything to prevent that scary scenario in their heads. I've seen it come up in rather dangerous cases where the person 'lost the plot'. So I think this card can relate to very anti social behaviour.

I would ask: what should I know about this persons personality?

A sociopath is a bit different than a psychopath. They can be very functional in society and manipulate people into doing whatever they want. Basically anything that helps them gain something, status or money usually. Hey have no moral conscious or feelings of care. It's all a game to see how much they can get away with.

I saw magician reversed as my main bit when I googled this, but seeing as I don't use reversals I was thinking something along the lines of devil and magician. Not sure what else. 9 of wands makes some sense, although they don't really struggle bc the whole thing is fun for them. Maybe the Fool somewhere in the mix? Living for now, no concern for consequences? I do like the Fool so I'd prefer not to associate such a thought with him. He's carefree and happy, a 'fool in love'.

It's really hard to pinpoint these things. Even cards like The Empress that have such a positive meaning can be rather negative in some cases (yes, even upright) as is the Lovers. However, many "professional readers" will look at these cards with innocent eyes, and interpret them wrongly when it comes to love/relationships at least. So, it's really hard to figure it out without actually experiencing the cards in real life to be 100% sure of it..

I agree Empress. I've said it before; when I read I try to take into account the order of the cards, their imagery, and of course my intuition that may look at a bunch of nice cards but really be telling me something negative. I was looking for some type of guideline for sociopaths or if anyone had this experience before what their reading showed.
