I got a reading as follows, for the question, "What does he (my boss) think of me?"

10 of diamonds 3 of diamonds and 7 of diamonds

I have never tried playing cards. So would anyone like to comment? Thanks for any takes. What attracts my attention is that all are diamonds and also the digit 10. Does it have anything to do with 10 of pents?

I did one more for my mentor in which I asked why does he treat me the way he does and I got -
9 of clubs 6 of clubs and 4 of clubs

Again all same - clubs.

Nobody's doing the playing cards? I thought we had 2-3 persons here. May be they are just not around or perhaps busy.

Anyone can give it a try

The interpretation will vary just like it sometimes does with tarot. As these weren't my cards, I'm not sure the meaning I have would apply, but I'll copy and paste here the ones I have. They are from a blog that is no longer available (was deleted, as you can see here: http://cartomancy.wordpress.com/2007/09/18/10-of-diamonds/ ). They seem to really work for me, I hope it does for you, too.

quote:
The 10 of Diamonds represents financial success and security. It can denote a large sum of money, material wealth, riches, a large investment opportunity, or freedom from financial worries. The 10 of Diamonds indicates gain, financial rewards, success with money, and achievement in one’s career.
The 10♦ is the “banking” and “investment” card. It can indicate a growing bank account, a nest egg, pension, retirement fund, or just money socked away for a rainy day.
In general, the 10♦ represents success and satisfaction. This card represents the querent’s financial worth, and the surrounding cards will denote whether the financial situation continues to improve, or if financial problems loom on the horizon.
The 10♦ represents springtime, and the direction west.
Card Multiples:
Two 10‘s: Travel out of state or out of the province.
Three 10‘s: Travel out of the country.
Four 10‘s: World Travel

quote:
The number 3 symbolizes growth and expansion, and when combined with the Suit of Diamonds, the 3 of Diamonds represents a small increase in money, financial growth, and taking the first steps on the ladder to success.
The 3 of Diamonds is a “small money” card. It can indicate increased income, or extra money coming in from an outside source such as a side job, moonlighting, or overtime hours.
The 3♦ can represent a small payment such as someone paying you back a small loan, or paying back a small debt. It can indicate making a small bank deposit or withdrawal. It can even indicate making a payment on a ”lay away” plan.
The 3♦ also represents building toward financial security. It can indicate expanding one’s business or clientele base, and an increase in profits.
I read the 3♦ as “a financial opportunity” which covers anything from a new job offer to a chance to get in on the ground floor of the next big “get rich quick’ pyramid scheme. It can indicate a lucrative side job, a small promotion on your current job, or even just a small raise in pay.
The 3♦ can also indicate “financial expansion.” This might include expanding a business base, or actually breaking down walls and expanding the business space.
The idea of expansion represented by the number 3, combined with the nervous energy of the Suit of Diamonds, can represent “scattered energy.”  The 3♦ can denote a lack of focus, commitment, or effort.  In relationship readings, this card can  indicate “fickleness” or changeability in a lover who runs hot and cold.

quote:
The 7 of Diamonds is traditionally a card of financial achievement, rewards and recognition. Based on the more unfavorable symbolic meanings of the number 7, this card can also indicate financial challenges and feelings of stress over money.
The 7♦ is the card of success and achievement, and denotes being rewarded or recognized for your efforts. This is also a money card, and can indicate improved financial prospects, and an increase in income such as a raise in pay on your regular job, or a significant sum of unearned cash. The 7♦ can also denote “lucky money,” and can represent gambling wins, or losses (if surrounded by spades).
The 7♦ indicates “wise investments.” This card represents a person’s liquid assets, and the surrounding cards will describe the current financial state, and any actions to be taken with the money in the way of investments, or large purchases such as a car or home. Once the money is invested, it is usually represented by the 10♦.

quote:
The 9 of Clubs is traditionally a card of luck, travel and achievement.  The 9 of Clubs denotes luck in business.  It can represent a lucrative business opportunity, a lucky break, or a successful career move.
The 9♣ is specifically a card of time and space.  The 9♣ can represent distance, or someone or something far away.  The 9♣  can also indicate a long duration.  It can denote something “long-lasting” such as a job or relationship.  Surrounded by Spades this card can denote postponements and long delays.
The 9♣ is also a card of travel- from the notions of time and distance.  This card can represent a journey for business or for pleasure.  The 9♣ can also represent an emotional,  psychological or spiritual  journey; or quest for self.

quote:
The 6 of Clubs is traditionally a card of movement, progress and completion in business or social matters. The 6 of Clubs can reveal an opportunity to resolve problems and issues. It indicates taking responsibility of a problem or situation, and doing whatever is necessary to move forward and ensure success.
With the practicality of the Suit of Clubs combined with the idea of communion from the number 6, this card denotes sharing one’s thoughts and ideas with another. The 6♣ is the card of communications, and can denote negotiations, banter, talk, and other forms of communications including hand gestures, body language, the media, and the written word. The 6♣ signifies good counsel, and trusted advice. It also represents listening and paying attention, and denotes knowledge, reading, study and learning.

quote:
The stability of the number 4 combined with the practicality of the Suit of Clubs signifies stability in business matters, and reliable social contacts.
In a general sense, the 4 of Clubs represents practical foundations, and stable conditions.  The 4 of Clubs can indicate laying the foundation for future progress, and denotes a stable business environment and using good business sense.
Specifically, the 4♣ can symbolize the four walls of a building, room, or office.  It can also represent the four legs of a table or desk.  The 4♣ also represents a 4-wheeled vehicle: a coach, a car, a truck, a cart, a baby carriage, etc. Hence, it can indicate a trip by car.
A more modern meaning for the 4♣ is news or a message sent electronically.  This would include a telephone call, text message, and email.

filleaspirant thank you for your response. And it was so kind of you to take the trouble to do all this. I found the entire interpretation very interesting.
