I thought we could have a discussion thread about how tarot cards could describe us physically.I pulled a few cards asking what does someone ( a male)think about my physical traits and I was a little perplexed. Ace of swords - ace of cups - The emperor IP: Logged |

ACE OF SWORDS = Ethereal, aesthetically pleasing like a statue or a painting, agile look
ACE OF CUPS = looks like he was emotionally affected or this wouldn't have come up, it would of just been another case of " She was not the less beautiful, but her beauty impressed me only as that of the statue. It failed to enter my heart--" < I like this quote. 
Oh erm. *cough* back on subject, it made him enthralled and he sensed your vulnerability and softness despite your agile and confident look and seemingly detached demeanor

Mah fave subject!  Aces, I find, are often about impressions rather than somebody's appearance. If you draw a card, in this case The Emperor, for a female person, again, we speak more of demeanour, not the physicality. I've discovered that the minors aren't really conducive to this type of inquiry. IP: Logged |

Interesting....I asked the same as you Jessica and got
Queen of Discs- King of Rods- Page of rodsI seem to often get either the Queen here or Empress when asking about this particular person.
Now for the majority of men:
7 of swords- 2 of swords- Hanged Man
Not what I expected! Dirty thoughts that aren't voiced?
Majority of women:
4 of Discs- 9 of rods- 5 of discs
I could stand to lose some weight? Interesting how different these draws are. I tried to think generally of just people passing me by in the street but I kept picturing women that see me often so this last one might be a bit skewed. Anyone have any input on these? Interesting take Venus. So you think aces are about impressions of the person's character? What would you make of having ace of swords and ace of cups in the same spread? When I look at my emperor card, he sits with a straight back on his chair with his head held high a very classy looking cloak. Very similar to how I am in real life. IP: Logged |

The last spread: Could it be possible that women think of you as someone who is not so comfortable with how you look physically? Not saying that it is the truth but just a thought.. The first spread: Interesting, all pentacles cards. How would describe the images on those cards? Do you find them similar to how you look physically? IP: Logged |

I am and am not comfortable with my body. I've gained about 30 pounds, some of which is muscle but a good deal of fat is there. So while I don't really care if I'm "bigger" or weigh more I do care about my health and being able to be as athletic as I was when I weighed less. It's harder to move at my weight. I'm a lot slower and it's really disappointing to me. Also I haven't gotten too many new clothes so I think women pick up on the "tricks" to look thinner. The first spread is one pentacle and two wand cards. I'll try to take a photo of the cards but I can't say I look much like them. The Queen of Pentacles seems to have a sort of reserved standoffish pride/attitude that I suppose could relate to me. The King of Rods [wands] is focused on this globe on top of his staff and behind him is a mountainside. He's tricky to me. I've read how this King can be protective but I see a lot of drive, determination and imagination with him. Like wanting to conquer more. The Page here, to me, looks vulnerable. She's young and looks straight ahead at you (the queen faces left the king faces right, hey! Just realized they seem to cover every angle....the plot thickens) and there's this weird background that's sandy but to me looks like things that are melting. So is she leaving a bad situation? I'm not sure... Also wands are 'sexy' cards so it makes me wonder how all that plays in. For your spreads, are you using the entire deck? IP: Logged |

For Hermit and Justice, I've been thinking, can you be described as fair? Like skin color? Or light skinned. For body type possibly well balanced but on the thinner side? When I think of a hermit I tend to think of someone skinny, like a nun or monk who are always fasting. Or! Hermit + Justice could mean you could use a tan, you sit inside all day so you're very light, lighter than someone of your normal background, could possibly tan well. ^same here. I probably have 30+ pounds on you. I can tell from your legs and arms that you have a thin build naturally. Kinda what I remember having as a kid. Well I borrowed your question, as to what someone (a male) think of my physical traits.7 of cups - 6 of pentacles - 8 of wands I am not quite sure if I shall be insulted now. Also asked what kind of impression/ impact my physical appearance (which of course is more than just the body) makes on him 2 of cups - Ace of swords - 5 of wands IP: Logged |

interesting idea to ask about the general view of women/ men.So I asked how do women see me in general: Chariot - 3 of wands - Death - the first cards I get (I am determined for this change and making it happen), but the last one? Okay I am a bit on the pale side, but death?  how men view me in general: Lovers - 2 of cups - 10 of swords Uuuh, do I even want to know the meaning of this?

aww am blushing! thank you for all the compliments. @littlecloud hmmm, yeah I do have thin arms and slim legs, you are right, even if I put on weight, my arms and legs remain relatively thin. @Ceridwen yeah I know, it's all a matter of one's own perspective, that's why I thought it's best I post a picture. The first spread sounds promising
I'd say they are quite 'hot' thoughts.. The second spread feels like he has feelings for you but is conflicted..

view you physically? my pov: women view you as someone who is struggling with your physique at times. May be they think you are hell bent on a certain results that will be very difficult to achieve?? Men view you as someone who is lovable/ adorable and soft spoken but someone who self sabotage herself?? IP: Logged |
