yeah that is how I would interprete the spread, too.

It could also be a way of my deck telling me to leave it the heck alone. I had been overdoing it a little yesterday with pulling cards. You know the rookie-mistakes, or those of the desperate ones, pulling several cards on the same questions, without even taking the time to think about the answer. Mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.

After that I officially apologized to my cards (the RWS can get a little cranky over me doing that) and put them away for the day.

Lol. Yes. I still do that. My cards are actually very patient with me when I keep pulling. Altough of course the first answer was the right one

The first answer is ALWAYS the right one.

I am glad though it does not only happen to me.
I sometimes feel really ashamed of me doing this, as I KNOW it falsifies the results, I can`t trust it at all etc.

Well, my RWS deck in particular is quite strict with me, I think it wants to educate me or something like that.
BUT if I sincerely apologize and try again, it is at least willing to give it another try with me.

Do I personalize this deck too much? lol

^ I'd say you were having a slumber party, perhaps?

Ceridwen,

Do you focus on the card in the middle?

If I did that, my RWS would go into a corner and pout and refuse talking to me ever again.

I sometimes ask two decks, and the witches tarot couldn`t care less as a matter of fact. But then it is more prone to "poetic licence" while my RWS is very blunt and honest to the point that it feels hurtful at times.

I find it depends, but yes, I find myself returning to the central card. lol

In this case I would, as it is framed by thematic similiar cards of "turning a blind eye". So if this was indeed a REAL answer, then i personally would interprete it that he is in the dark/ not seeing what the connection is about, and most likely because he does not WANT to see. the 2 of swords is very clear in this regard.

I do think though there is some sort of connection indicated by the cards, there wuold be no need to give me two majors if just to say, it`s non existent.

Or if so, then maybe DEATH or the HANGED MAN or something like that.

So I`d interprete it that a connection is there, especially with the lovers card in between, Gemini-cards tend to connect (or demand a choice), but he can`T afford to really see it at this moment in time.
It`s sometimes easier to NOT see.

If I interprete the first card as answer I would say:

an almost conscious blocking of the heartchakra; intentionally turning a blind eye.
Not wanting to know. Other say the 2 of swords also indicates not wanting to make a decision.

the other two cards could show the reasons.

Lovers - Moon

Lovers are about a choice as well. So with the first card indicating him not wanting to make a decision and here a choice-card as well.

Well just seeing a connection, does not mean someone has to make a decision. I would think.
But this is not about what I would think, but him.

Would he think, if he saw our connection, that he would need to make a choice?
And the Moon would not make things any easier for the confusion it brings, though to be honest if it comes up for me in my own readings it usually has more to do with slightly confusing romantic feelings. I noticed that certian cards seem to have certain meanings for me. The Moon being one of them (oh yes and bringing emotional chaos, like something bubbling up from the emotional subconsciousness, that you sometimes wished, would have stayed down. Sleeping dogs, you know?)

The Moon:

''Cold hearted orb that rules the night, removes the colours from out of sight. Red is grey and yellow, white. But we decide which is right and which is an illusion.''

IDK I feel sometimes this ^ sums up the moon card in tarot...

Hmm, no, I donīt really relate to that. I mean I know what it means, but I just donīt relate to it.
The Moon has always been a very deep card for me in tarot, rather then being outright deceptive.

however what I find is true, is that things are not always like they seem to be where the Moon is concerned, the rational mind does not get far.

You don't need a blindfold in order to not see. You can simply close your eyes, like in 4/C.

I think he's keen on sussing out what exactly is going on. I think he's engaging his ratio, because he can't choose in a way Lovers tend to suggest - by heart, intuitively. The confusion is spectacular.

Yes, I think you have a point there.

Maybe I did not just feel it, but he ACTUALLY shouted at me.

Burned right into me at that point as a matter of fact, I did not expect that laserbeam-like stare accompanied by a very accusing - I might add- "You started it. I didnīt start it"

Of course just a part of the song, but still I reacted irrantionally strongly to it.
made want to squeeze out between gritted teeth: I.Did.not.start.ANYTHING.

But as I said, just a line in a song. I might have emotionally overreacted.

oh I'm positively drawn to your moon card!

I agree, the moon is also a very sensitive card for me. I think with my cancer moon at 0 degree it makes sense.

The moon is profound, so profound, that there is no logic,or where logic has no place and where there is no logic there is 'emotional instability', where the heart turns lunatic leaving the mind behind..it's like I didn't lose my mind, it got scared of my lunatic heart and ran away. If only I could meet someone who is as lunatic as me!

sorry for babbling all that out I think it is this new moon on my 8th house leo stellium. 've been feeling really different since saturday!

You don`t know me very well, do you?

i don`t say no to this sort of challenge, in fact I THRIVE on it.

And I repeat what did I start, please?

Okay, I shaped up, so I look totally mesmerizing and alluring and irresistible.
Add to that I am an extremely smart (and may I say modest ) woman, warmhearted, compassionate, certainly unusual and not fitting the Status-Quo, and sometimes looking with wonder at this world (or a stage performance) like a child seeing a christmas tree for the first time, and at the same time seemingly looking from a higher ground and finding it all so amusing, myself included.

Of course I know that this is a completely unique and entrancing composition of qualities, all united in this person, me, and it has become impossible to hide all that glamour away, so I now just let it shine.

But can he REALLY hold that against me?

I would say that due to a habit of deliberately resisting making a choice (usually through fear of making the wrong one, but it is baby out with the bath water, as one loses the option of the right choice through refusal to make any choice) one has been locked into a dark place where one actually feels they do not have choice.
Cannot see the options.
The unknown feels dangerous and that fear leads one to re-cycle back to resisting making a choice.

This is a cycle that will likely be broken through the fist of the tower. Most habits require that level of force.

2 cents.
