I felt like experimenting with my cards and I decided it might be interesting to see how two people effected each others lives. The results were quite interesting.

I asked how person B effected person A's life and got Snake+Tree+Letter+Whip+Birds

Then I asked how person A effected B's life and got Coffin+Child+Lily+Sun+Cross

I think that perhaps person B may have made person A ill or caused them some sort of spiritual problem.Person B definitely hated person A so the snake appearing makes sense.I think B would would have had a verbal spat with A so the letter, whip and birds appearing also makes sense.

I think person A may have caused an ending of a new beginning or fresh start for person B because of the coffin and child.I the Lily and Sun may mean Person A caused person B's happiness and success to be delayed or destroyed it by pouring cold water over it.Although I am unsure about the Lily maybe it brought calmness and contentment .I think the Sun and cross means Person A put and end to person B's happiness or success or made it difficult to achieve.

Does anybody have any thoughts ?

Hi PL

I know nothing about lenormand but i had some thoughts based on the words.

Snake I would associate distrust, and trees have roots, so perhaps person A has deep rooted distrust of people, and person B delivered a message/lesson? that was painful or perhaps a message/lesson that took the pain away or made them be more open to trusting(birds fly away free)?

Coffin reminds me of death, death is transformation. I remember someone mentioning in a reading they gave me that lily can mean an older person. When i think of older i think of the word mature. So perhaps A helped B transform into a more mature person (or A caused B to grow up quickly) , sun is happiness and warmth, cross is crossroads? Im not sure how to interpret that, i need to think

let me know what you think. Interesting spread.

Hi VacantGazer

Thank you for replying. You did have some very good ideas .

I think person A would definitely not trust person B.I think you are right that Person A probably did distrust person B .I do feel though the snake represented B who I think felt like a riled up snake who had been stepped on and wanted to deliver some venom. To me the snake represents rivalry, hatred, jealousy and darker emotions, sabotage and revenge also older women. As the for the tree whenever I read about it a lot of the time I find it gets connected to health, spirituality and karma and karmic connections.I think its really interesting as it really seems to fit in this spread. In my personal opinion as a casual observer Both Person A and B were no angels.I get the impression person A and person B were to different people yet they may have have some similar traits.I wouldn't put it past person B to try and cause person B some sort of harm without even doing face to face. The thing is these people never met each other they argued over a social media site which I think can help explain the Letter.I think you are right about person B delivering a not very nice message which would explain the Whip.I don't think it would have made Person A more trusting as I feel Person B wanted to give person A a taste of their own medicine and wanted to hurt Person A.I think your idea about the birds is interesting although I still feel the birds are about the communication that took place.

I think you may be right about person A helping person B mature a little bit.I would agree with what you said about the coffin and Lily.I still think the coffin is about endings but I think your right endings can bring about new beginnings and transformation.Perhaps the coffin ended the immaturity of the child and the lily helped the child mature. Then perhaps the sun came along to bring warmth. The last card was card number 36 the cross a.k.a the crossing which you are getting mixed up with card 22 the crossroads. The cross is about trials and tribulations, heavy burdens, suffering and grief and also spirituality and fate.I'm really not sure if person A would have completely ruined Person B's success and happiness or delayed it or that person B's success was ensured by some twist of fate.

I try to remain impartial and not take sides. This is just an experiment and the test subjects are random people I saw argue.I thought person A would have done more damage to person B but I don't really know a lot of the info so its hard to tell. Also its hard for me to tell if person A had a positive effect on person B or not because in my opinion those cards could go either way.

Goodnight VacantGazer

Anytime, i love exchanging ideas

I also thought that maybe the outcome is the ultimate lesson? What they needed to learn from this impact. What they finally get from it(or at least should get).

I looked up meanings for birds.

Birds is communication, perhaps the lesson is to be more trusting and expressive in their feelings(there was the deep rooted distrust). Letter is the delivery of this lesson? but the lesson brings some pain.

I don't know lenormand but i like that it is very to the point, the cards seem to mean what card name means. I've been thinking about learning it, but my main focus is cartomancy.

I really like the idea of your spread, it's like what we have learned from our experiences with others.

I would agree the cards did show the lessons these people needed to know and they show the positive and negative effects people can have on each other.

I would definitely agree that the birds are about communication.I still do think the birds in this case indicate the negative exchange of words that happened. The reason I think it is more about the negative feelings being exchanged is because I feel that person A and Person B wanted to spit venom at each other and didn't intentionally want to help teach other. Also I got the feeling they didn't know each other well enough or long enough to comment on each others lives so they could distrust each other but they couldn't really have had major bad history with each other.I think just they happened to cross paths and took a dislike to each other and argued with a random stranger on the internet .Although you probably are right in a sense that there was somehow a deep distrust or dislike of each other even if they just acted on gut feelings.

The letter probably was the delivery of the message like you said.

If I think I feel the snake and tree together was the bad energy being sent out,the Letter was the bad energy being delivered. Letter and whip was the a delivery of a negative message. The Whip and birds could be the argument.

I am only really learning so I'm not very good at this.I do try and read about card meanings and combinations and various techniques and spreads.Although I am really terrible because I have a a habit of quickly reading through things to get a general idea and just then jump in.I find I learn in bits and pieces and try to build up what I know.Although I do feel bit by bit I am learning and retaining information. I find that I have to go back and reread sometimes.I do like to learn as I go along by asking questions.

I agree the cards can be very literal and uncanny.I think they are easier to interpret than Tarot cards.I would like to improve with tarot cards as well.
You really should get yourself a Lenormand Deck. I'm so glad I discovered it.I think cartomancy would be interesting although I don't think I would be very good with it.
