Hi there,I am a bit confused about the spread: Queen of swords and 2 of cups and 10 of swords and knight of cups and page of cups Can you make head or tails of that? I mean the 10 of swords in the middle can be devastating but what do all the cups cars there in a question about job/finances?
I understand that the 2 of cups is an offer but followed by the 10 of swords? And this devastating card is followed by the knight of cups? Strange. Please help  IP: Logged |

Doesn't 10 swords also indicate a new dawn? I dont think its always a negative card. Page of cups can show a new wave of creativity. Maybe the knight is someone you will be working with. You get an offer than leads to a new start/new way of thinking and you're working with someone using a new approach/creativity. The spread just says new to me, not devastation. Its like you're going to leave an old way behind. Also maybe you're going to meet someone via your working life. I might be wrong but just some ponderings

My first thought was that maybe one project will be cancelled despite mutual interest or looking interesting, but that a better offer (or multiple) will come along, probably just after the cancellation of the first. IP: Logged |

thanks a lot for your considerations yes, a new dawn; however, being stabbed in the back is anything but nice  but all those nice cards flanking the 10 of swords ia engaging, i can't argue that and yes, maybe the cards indicate a new love through new work coming  and thanks Ceri, for the hint that 2 jobs can be offered. I have another thought on the 10 swords. I mentioned in the september thread that there will actually be a reunion this week. I pulled some cards for that day for myself and got 10 swords surrounded by other cards that were very positive.So I asked what the 10 swords meant for me and got 9 swords death and I cannot remember the 3rd card but it was positive. So I think in my instance it means end of worries/anxieties. 10 swords is when u already reached rock bottom so the only way is up. The 10 is also the next step after the 9 swords(which is worries/anxieties etc). So as its surrounded by nice cards, perhaps it means things are going to look up now/get better etc.. 2 of Cups can also be a contract/agreement/diplomacy/mediation. With 10 of Swords I'd say that it doesn't happen, or there's no mutual agreement on something, but at the end new offers come. I don't know if this resonates.IP: Logged |

Hi,thanks to all for the considerations, i really appreciate feedback: i was looking for a new assignment and in the mid of doing so i had a conversation with my friends leading to the realization (queen of swords) that i have always sold myself at less than fair value. So, i reject previous offers/jobs (2 of cups + 10 of swords) in order to do something that is more for me and i am happy to do so (knight of cups) that's why the many cups make sense. I am about to follow my heart rather than sensibility. So far the spread makes sense for me. I keep you guys updated and again thank you for your thoughts IP: Logged |
