Gooberz was next on my list of books to get, but I thought I might not be ready. So I said to myself, when I'm ready, I will find it. Well...... my father-in-law has an auction, mostly stuff people bring in or from cleaning out estates. You just never know what you will find each week. Anyway, we went down to see them last week and there was a whole table full of astrology and new age type books!! I was checking them out, and at the end of the table, there it was!! Gooberz!! So I went in and told my mother-in-law that I wanted to leave a bid on some of the astrology books and she said did you see that calculator thing? I said no. Well, here there was this astro calculator. Still in the box. It worked too. She gave me that. I don't know how I missed that one. So now I will find out in the next couple weeks (when we go visit again) if I got the books. I only put a small sampling back, I didn't want to be too greedy. Some of them were really old astrology books, but they had some water damage. There was also an out of date ephermis (sp?) So I will let you know if I got the books. Melanie IP: Logged |

We finally got down to visit the inlaws yesterday and I was disappointed because there wasn't any slips in our slot. So I thought I didn't get the books, so asked my MIL and she was like oh yea I'll go get them for you. Jerry just said to take them!! So I got the following all for FREE!! Gooberz, baby signs, introduction to astrology & tarot, the complete crystal guidebook, earthway(a health book from a native american perspective) and you can heal your life. I started with you can heal your life first, but I am so excited and grateful for finding them and then to get them free on top of it!! My hubby said they must not have brought anything, (the books) that is why he gave them to me, but I can't imagine noone else wanting them. There was quite a bit more, but I only put those mentioned above back. (didn't want to be too greedy and there is only so much I can read) I just love going there. Yesterday I got a whole box of glasses and vases that noone wanted, and I told my hubby to bid on this hot wheels table. It is a table for kids to play with their cars on. I thought the kids would like it, well, he got outside too late and missed it, but here noone bought that either so we got that for free too!! I can't believe that noone bid on that, I thought it would go for alot because I am sure they are not cheap in the store. It is in good shape too. I think I will see if I can price check them on the net just to see. Well, I am going to get back to my reading now.Melanie IP: Logged |

I have been looking for Gooberz for a while, and I finally found it dusty and alone on the bottom shelf of a small bookstore. I started it yesterday and I'm on Canto Seven. I feel it changing me already.IP: Logged |
