Hello knowflakes!!!
I havent visited the Gooberz section of LL for awhile..mainly because I get stuck on the astrology forum and also, because to be honest, I dont think I am spiritually ready to read Gooberz.
I have had Gooberz in my posession since 2005 and I have not been able to read it straight through. The lessons and secret hidden messages just doesnt seem to stick to me or make any sense to me.
I think I need to be thorougly enlightened first in order to appreciate and udnerstand this book...and I keep wondering when will be my time to be in that place ??
Does anyone else feel this way??

Hi seveneieghtorange! Great name by the way, don't think I've conversed with you before, nice to meet you.

I think that if you've had Gooberz in your possesion since '05 then you're meant to read it I wouldn't worry about seeing or not seeing spiritual messages.

Read it as a poem/verse, with no expectation. You may relate to some experiences, and others not so much, but we aren't expected to have lived through all life has to offer yet!

Either way, it contains cantos written beautifully

So I think it's the right time to start it, because you'll probably find that spiritual development being excercised as you read more. It did with me..

I still go back to it and see different things - or read the same things in a different way, it's cool like that

Have you read Star Signs?

*edit* just realised I posted exactly the same time as you did yesterday

Just take it slowly, and read it like you would poetry.

Hello!
LOL, why am I always worried about things that other people aren't?? I should just jump in the Gooberz bandwagon and DO IT!!!
Sheaa Hello No I dont think you and I have talked before and as for my name, it was a name of a club back home in the Philippines. Yes I have read Star Signs 2 years ago and sometimes I go back and forth to it, especially when things in my life are getting muddy. Reading everyone else's experience with Gooberz makes me so pumped up for it but then when I sit down and read it, I dont understand anything!! I guess Im just worried I will not see the beauty of it and experience it the way everyone else does...

Most of it is just a story about her childhood and life. If all you do is read and understand those parts, you will still be touched.

Don't be intimidated by the size. Take one Canto at a time.
