I've always had an affinity for spiritual and psychic subjects, but in the past days there have been a few strange occurences. I like to guess signs, but my accuracy was never better than 1/4 times. I guess 6 peoples signs correct in a row, and one of them I did during a college discussion in front of 30 people. Last night I had a dream about my dead grandfather, who I've never dreamt of before. He said, "Just laugh and enjoy life, you'll be with me someday." I burst into tears, I haven't cried in years, and i never cry in dreams. Also strange is I dont' believe in an afterlife. The final occurence was that I began an impresion of a friend who's be far away, and 3 people on unrelated occasions said it was like I was "channeling her." What do y'all think of these, is this just chance and coincidence, or is there actually something more going on....IP: Logged |

I have been pondering the same question myself, BlueRoamer. Many little signs have been wandering into my life, and omens, and dreams I am paying attenttion to...But i have tried to pass it off as maybe our friend Neptune is transiting something in my chart......or this tends to happen (for me, anyways) the closer it gets to Halloween. The veil gets thinner now. And, since Friday was the full moon.. I feel that lunar energy brings these things "to light" more so than any other time.....Just my thoughts Blue... because I am in the same boat as you! K IP: Logged |

Welcome BlueRoamer!Welcome MotherK! Personally, I do not believe in "coincidence". And I think you would find that many have experienced this type of "psychic" activity, apparently just popping up out of nowhere. Perhaps these things are meant to expose you to, and verify to you that there is much more going on behind the scenes of this reality than you imagined - and perhaps to show you that you have the ability to tap these underlying forces in a way that is physically, or materially demonstrable. I have found, in my own experience, that when first encountering this sort of connection with Force, there is a cyclic way about it which appears rather haphazard. It kind of comes and goes. But, with persistance and Intent, one can maintain this connection in a more stable, uniform manner. Like your grandfather wisely said, "just laugh, and enjoy life". Much can be accomplished, and connected with, by having this attitude. Have fun! IP: Logged |

When I was a child I was convinced that my grandmother was going to Hell. She was an unofficial white supremist and constantly criticized and complained about various minority groups. She was not the lovey dovey cuddly grandmother type. She was tough, smart and voiced her opinion freely. I think everyone else was convinced when she passed she would not be going to "heaven." Being raised Catholic Hell seemed inevitable. When she finally made her transition, she came to me in a dream. she was raking her gravel driveway as usual and I approached her. A light and sense of peace emminated from her. "Grandma, what are you doing here -- your dead? I asked."She did not answer. Then I asked her (I figured I was communicating with someone who passed over so I couldn't resist the opportunity to ask) Is there a heaven? Oh yes!, she lit up --- and it's so beautiful, ----but I'm not allowed in yet. I immediately woke up shocked. What she said contradicted all of my beliefs at that point in my life. Do I think the dream was a real connection with my Granmother? ABSOLUTELY! Was your connections with your Grandfather real? Absolutely IP: Logged |

I guess one point is that life isn't just about spiritual matters. There's is also fun and pure experience. Last night I had a very strong meditative experience. I was thinking about another thread recently concerning Astral travel. I was trying to look around my room with my eyes closed. I gave up and was about to sleep when I became aware of my thirs eye. It doesn't happen often, but usually when I sense this, I focus my eyes on the abys of my mind. It draws in further. Last night I felt like my third eye was the size of my head and I was looking into eternity. At this stage I usually get headaches and backout, and just go to sleep. Is this what meditation is kind of about? Like receiving messages over the void? I often expect messages, and once "saw" a white dove fly around and come closer, but it could've just been imagination...Dean. ------------------ Love and Light to aLL My numerology program according to "Star Signs" by LG. I think we are spirital beings on a human mission. So that would mean everything is a spiritual matter including fun and pure experience.IP: Logged |

So true Kat. Dean, if you can ever become aware enough during that sort of meditative experience without loosing the connection, you can guide yourself by using simple thoughts as directions, such as "see clearly" or "project" or "float away". There are no limitations. "Imagination" is very thinly separated from experience in this state, and it only takes Awareness and Intent to make the shift. IP: Logged |

Hey Blue Roamer:I entered an extremely spiritual time about 8 years ago. Nothing in my life seemed to fill a void I've had, especially with family. Since no one was going to change I had to find an alternative since I do not agree with them in any way on HUGE issues that would directly affect my life. Through various techniques, like meditation, prayer, astral travels and communicating with the other side, the most important thing I learned was that our lives are like bubbles in a bubble bath popping one after the other. Our influence is so small and brief, yet so essential to the chain. I learned that it's never really about US. We are playing something out for a bigger plan. Our ego gives us the illusion of having free-will, just enough to keep us from going insane. But in reality, we have no free will, for even if we feel like we are turning our wheels, it's usually during that time when we really aren't going anywhere. You choose life when you make a conscious agreement to go with the flow and look for clues and "signs" to keep you on track. It is that dedication, that INTUITIVE COMMUNICATION with the TRUE source which will bring you back home, once and for all. Eternal life. I know... it's hugely disappointing to realize that some stinky people in this world happen to be related to you. . Every stinky person is related to someone, but that doesn't make you the same. Trust your dreams. Imagine if you crossed to the other side and were trying to communicate to loved ones on the earth-plane, how frustrating it would be if they ignored you!!! with love & support, .gloria ------------------ it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness...
