Salvia Divinorum is used by shamans in Oaxaca, Mexico. Outside Mexico Salvia became famous as one of the best legal highs (hallucinogens, herbal smoke, psychoactives) ever discovered. This sacred, safe sage plant is now in danger of being made illegal in many parts of the world.
Is this stuff legal in America? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfSUjFS_tjQ&feature=related http://www.salvia-divinorum.com/ IP: Logged |

Thanks HSC.Ummm...not interested in trying unless some one designs a utility to capture the Salvia A vapors and discard carbon monoxide and tar safely. I'm too short on time to invent such a device - hehehe Why is this fuck1ng government against safe fun for the public? Shiva and Mohammed didn't ban cannabis for their people. Did they? The US constituion is bizzare

This is avaiable at the headshops in town. There was a article in the newpaper not that long ago on it. Talking about the need to make this "drug" illegal. Telling people where it can be bought and for how much. Funny thing was, I'd not heard of it prior to that. Which made me wonder how many other's didn't know about it? Needless to say, the Newpaper did a GREAT job of advertising, lol. I've wanted to go down and get some. Although I havent been into town for a lil while now. And when I am I am with my Aries love who is against drugs of any sort and alcohol. (he doesn't like to be outta control) So when I do such things I try to keep them outta his sight. I'd really like to try this before it'd made illegal. With someone I can trust of course. ------------------ "Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known" ~ Carl Sagan Cap Sun, Cancer Moon, Cap ASC IP: Logged |

SALVIA DIVINORUM BASICS The botanical name Salvia divinorum means "Sage of the Diviners." Under the right conditions, taken in the right way, Salvia produces a unique state of "divine inebriation." For hundreds of years, it has been used in religious and healing ceremonies by the Mazatec Indians, who live in the province of Oaxaca, in Mexico. Salvia leaf is physically quite safe. It is very gentle on the body. Toxicological studies have shown that salvinorin A is extraordinarily non-toxic. No one has ever died from a Salvia overdose. Salvia is not habit-forming or addictive. People who choose to use Salvia, tend to do so quite infrequently. Salvia is not a stimulant, it is not a sedative, it is not a narcotic, it is not a tranquilizer. Like many entheogens, at sufficiently high doses it can induce visions, yet it is quite different from other entheogens. Dale Pendell, in his book Pharmako/poeia, assigns Salvia divinorum to a unique pharmacological class, which he calls "existentia." This term alludes to the philosophical illumination Salvia seems to shine on the nature of existence itself. http://www.sagewisdom.org/usersguide.html

Be very careful with the salvia. I am really surprised that the authorities here haven't made it illegal. It is not to be messed with. Salvia world for me is presided over by a lady whom I call "Lady Salvia"... she means well but the message I got.... Salvia is not a toy and must be treated with respect. IP: Logged |

I've had time to read over your original thread HSC (which I didn't yesterday) - hell's teeth, what that 'friend' did to you... my god. I've only done it once myself, all I can say about it was it was a total loss of ego. I was floating in the universe, I was an atom. There was a Lady, I didn't see her, just felt her presence. She was purple and all I can say is that she represented 'Scorpio' to me. I think she's pointing me towards Scorpio, which is the sign I am going to be in my next incarnation. I just knew it. That Shamanic 'silent knowing' thing. That's all I can say about it. I don't know if I'd do it again, the loss of ego thing is not something I feel I am ever ready to 'know' again. It is too difficult a concept to grasp as it would mean a total alteration of my world view. But that 'silent knowing' thing. I know this stuff already in my heart. Just not my head. Logic. Much too Libran. She was trying to show me there's a different way of living.

A great interview with David Wilcock here: http://www.talkshoe.com/tc/59174 He talks a little bit about Salvia Divinorum and other drugs, the things everyone should be aware of if choosing to take that direction. These altered states of consciousness can be reached more safely through meditation though.....he shares some brilliant insights on chakras, meditation and the third eye too. IP: Logged |

GROUNDHOG, WOODCHUCK Altered States of Consciousness A very difficult and powerful totem to have, Groundhog is the symbol of opening fully to the dreamtime. Of exploring altered states of consciousness more deeply and fully. Dreams will have great significance.Lessons associated with death, dying and revelations about its processes will begin to surface. Groundhog can teach its people metabolic control. How to go into the great unconscious without harm. People with a Groundhog totem need to have definite boundaries in their life and let those around them know those boundaries. Groundhog’s power is strongest in Winter and two years is an important time period. Two years of intensive studying might be required to achieve true trances or alter states of consciousness. This is often the totem of Shamans and Mystics. http://www.linsdomain.com/totems/pages/groundhog.htm IP: Logged |

Really? Terrifying?I had a pleasant experience of a short teleportation to a loved one that was seperated from me. It was crazy... I think it lasted like 60 seconds in the "warp" and then when I was brought back, my friend was asking me if I was okay and all that, I was! But just a little confused that I am suddenly not in the place of "viewing"... My friends thought I would freak on that stuff but guess not, I had a pleasant journey. And the person that I "intruded" on it, is a Pisces too haha for some reason is very sensitive and noted my intrusion IP: Logged |
