Just some ramblings.....Can anyone be invincible; reach a point of enlightenment where they are able to overcome all odds....and hold onto that truth, those principles, no matter what happens around them or to them? Perhaps no one is, can be truly, (invincible)? Or perhaps we can be only after we have the tools? As everything is a matter of whether or not we have the tools; wisdom; skill; or knowledge......then is "free will" actually a misnomer?
Is guilt a useless, destructive part of our nature?

I don't believe so as this would not be existence. To be human is to have potential. To be completely enlightened would mean you are pure energy, which would be Godhood. Hence, I think you would need to be dead to experience this complete oneness. There is always more to learn and heal through meditation. I find it interesting that it seems the best meditators like Buddha and the Dalai Lama become teachers, but maybe they have reached an end to their road, and are yet to fully comprehend humility and hence teach others and share their knowledge, but I'm sure there are more enlightened souls who do not wish to commune with lesser mortals, but not because they are arrogant, but perhaps, because they cannot spare the time for their own development? Also, these higher beings would be looking at the bigger picture of the Earth and its history than a few people. It possibly also depends on their character. Buddha, Osho, and the Dalai Lama all seem to be very charismatic. Not to leave out Jesus of course! In any case, I think some people see the infinite possibilities of meditiation and the path to enlightenment, while others see the potential in passing the gift to others to try to get them to pass on their knowledge, etc, to assist all of Earth through its people, instead of purely from their own minds. Lastly, karma, I believe, is not just a chain of decisions and ramifications made in this life, so no matter how hard you try, there could be challenges imposed by other lives, etc, which you could always work through. I also think that karma could be the energy your mind creates given a situation that attracts other energies, and not just the action or event, so we need to meditate to remove these energies.Anyhow, just my two cents, Heaps of Love, Dean. ------------------ I realized it for the first time in my life: there is nothing but mystery in the world, how it hides behind the fabric of our poor, browbeat days, shining brightly, and we don't even know it.
